In case you missed it, you can now use the Bring A Friend discount 7 days a week.

Up to this point it was only Monday thru Thursday at $39.99 and they added Friday through Sunday for $44.99.

I do not have a problem with this. I do not think the park is undersold at $44.99 or $39.99 on weekends. These are prices you should expect to pay anywhere except walk up.

Where the product is eroded is at the $9.99/$14.99/$19.99 price points.

Totally agree!  The only thing worse than the $9.99 was the Paramount Bring a Friend free on Father's day (at least I think it was free then or it was low enough to consider it free)...that was an overcrowded park by most people's definition.

I like that Bring-A-Friend is now everyday, but there is less value now. The savings is only about $5 now compared to just buying a daily ticket online. Compared the gate admission, Bring-A-Friend is still way cheaper, but Bring-A-Friend is purchased online which is why I am comparing it to online tickets.

Overall, I think I like that the price has increased and that these tickets can be purchased everyday. However, I think the savings are so minuscule than buying a ticket online, it doesn’t make a ton of sense.

What is even crazier is how many people do not even know or consider online purchases.

I was talking to a family yesterday and they had 3 members with a season pass and 3 others that tagged along for the day and paid full gate price in-person and had no idea they could have even got a discount online, much less saving a few more bucks with the passholders!

I don’t really understand why the Bring a friend discount is only available online (and thus requires a $6 service fee to purchase).

Seems like a money grab and that they should totally be able to sell these tickets at the gate to pass holders.

This is not surprising that they'd add weekends to BAF. The crowds have been light this year so far. This seems to be the case at every park I've visited this year, excluding Universal / Disney, so I don't think it's anything KI is doing wrong. I think KI is doing an excellent job running the park this year actually; it's one of my favorite seasons so far.

Plus…

For all we know this could have been the plan all along.
