BoddaH1994 Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Nah. Loop is best, only part with NO PAIN, no matter were you are sitting, plus you get to see stuff upside down. I wonder if that has to do with the fact that it's a steel structure with a wooden track, or the specific ways that the G forces act upon the train. Quote
AZ Kinda Guy Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Seeing how the rest of the ride pretty much rough as hell, I'm gonna go with because it's steel structure with wooden track. Quote
TheKlockster Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 The ride is rough - but I like it that way. It is my favorite ride - and the more it kicks my ass the more I will like it! I don't think being rough is a good reason to dislike it. It is very fun I think, if you can get over the roughness in your mind. I mean if you have a back problem, it might not be a good idea, but I know perfectly healthy people that whine about the roughness all the time. Quote
CYoung2003 Posted February 15, 2005 Posted February 15, 2005 Well if your a perfectly healthy person and you get on the ride and it beats the crap out of you and puts you in pain and ruins your day because of how rough it is, then I would think that it would be a good reason to dislike the ride. Jasper Posted February 16, 2005 Author Posted February 16, 2005 Heck yeah it would. I would only ride it once a month or so. Quote
TRTR Guy Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 SOB with backward trains is redicoulous, I would like to ride Beast backwards though Quote
Great America Guy Posted February 16, 2005 Posted February 16, 2005 SOB backwards... I'd do it! I would also love to try The Beast backwards. Other rides that would be killer backwards would be Top Gun, Raging Bull, and Superman: Ultimate Flight!!! BTW, SFAW runs their Arrow Suspended XLR-8 with half the train backards... Anyone think Top Gun would be cool like this? Quote
Jasper Posted February 18, 2005 Author Posted February 18, 2005 Yeah it would be cool. I thought they closed X-LR8 down? Quote
CoastersRZ Posted February 18, 2005 Posted February 18, 2005 No, to my knowledge XLR8R is still open. It would be cool to ride Top Gun backwards. I do not think PKI will ever do this though. Quote
Jasper Posted February 20, 2005 Author Posted February 20, 2005 O my bad. Yeah it would be awesome. Quote

I think SOB is just fine but I was just thinking what if..... The chiropractic industry around Greater Cincinnati would have been booming! Quote
