An Immersive Nighttime Experience at the Columbus Zoo

The experience: Join us on a journey through an incredible world of colorful illusions and extraordinary wildlife. Where creatures long extinct and those on the edge of extinction still roam. UNEXTINCT is the first of its kind – bringing over 70 extinct and threatened species back to life for an immersive digital nighttime experience like none other.

First of its kind and brought to life by the creative minds of former Disney Imagineers at Mangolin Creative, UNEXTINCT is an immersive nighttime experience using state-of-the-art theatrical effects. Guests will be surprised and delighted as they walk through a realm where the spirits of animals long extinct, or on the edge of extinction, still roam.

“With UNEXTINCT, we are using incredible set work and theatrics to bring a world of colorful illusions and extraordinary wildlife to guests,” said Morgan Richardson, Mangolin Creative Co-Founder and Creative. “UNEXTINCT delivers on the thirst for novel experiences and drives home the idea that we each have the power to make a difference in our own unique way.”  Richardson continued, “My personal passion for wildlife remains the driving force behind the entire experience.”

This looks to be like an experience similar to Astralumina at Annakeesta in Gatlinburg...tweaked to fit the zoo aspect...could be a cool experience!

This look really neat and I definitely want to go.  It you haven’t checked out the Nashville, TN Zoo they have a spectacular show called Zoolumination Chinese Festival of Lights that runs Thursday-Sundays until February 4th.  It typically starts mid-November each year and it’s incredible.  Check out nashvillezoo.org for more info.
