Dan
You don't have to be sorry, just try to use the search feature next time, it's your best friend.
Columbus coasternut
Yes it's being repainted red white and blue and they are changing the name to Captain America.Just kidding no the reflection from the sun in this picture makes it look Blue and Silver. Jasper
Don't be sorry it happens to all of us.
TheKlockster
It is hard to use the search all the time. Especially considering it searches the PKIU and PKIC posts. I mean - if you do a search for Vortex - it will take you a long time to sift through the results!
dxrunner
Don't be sorry it happens to all of us. Yea but it seems to happen to him ALOT

Alien Seed
I can see the orange perfectly. I don't know how you can see silver.
kong fu guy
Don't make fun of me
TheKlockster
Maybe the silver he is referring to is where the wheels have scratched off the paint...
kong fu guy
Why thank you Klockster. That probly what happen the wheels scratch the paint off.
Alien Seed
I'm not making fun of you. But about the paint, i've never seen the paint scratched that badly...whenever it is, there's a lighter, older coat of orange.
TheKlockster
No - there are silver lines on the top and inside of the track. They are where paint has been rubbed off. You cant see it everywhere - just some spots. Intamin goes the extra distance to paint white lines on their track - where the wheels are going to rub it off! Oh - and BEST SIGNATURE BANNER EVER! ↑
KIBeast
Yeah, but what does Intamin have to do with The Vortex? Arrow Dynamics built The Vortex. I don't see any silver in that pic. I see the typical orange and blue. Didn't Vortex get repainted like in the last 2-3 years? There's no need to repaint it.
emonun
You know they give a fresh coat the baby every once in awhile. I am an expert at painting the coaster.

dxrunner
Ok since no one else will admit they are making fun of you, I will
TheKlockster
I know its not painted. What I am saying is that there are stripes on the track where the paint gets worn off. This happens on all tubular steel rail coasters. Intamin takes extra measures to protect theirs.
KIBeast
haha, very funny. It takes a real expert to know that it was painted two years ago.
