Ok that was just wrong, funny but wrong. I have been tryong to win tickets all month long. I was going to make it a 3 day weekend at the park. Need a ride buddy?

God i wish that i could go. not sure if i will be able to find someone to go in such short notice.

pkifreakhogg - Going to the park alone is not always a bad thing. I normally go by myself, and find myself having a better time. No one dictates or influences what rides I ride at any time. Its my 'get away from the world' time. Its where I find my peace.

Unfortunately its not looking like the temperature is going to be all that warm. Upper 50's is what they are calling for at this point in time. We all know that will change by friday, but lets hope for some good weather!

Also, it looks as if I'm going alone. Might be fun. I just don't like the idea of riding coasters with *gasp* people I don't know. It just doesn't seem like it'd be fun.

In what I've experienced all season last year at PKI, the lines don't get too long at all with even slightly bad weather.

Each time I went last year, lucky as I was, it rained FIRST thing in the morning, and quit as the park was opening. Guess what? Walk ons pretty much the whole day. I do see what you're saying, but from personal experience, that hasn't been the case.

Well, you could always go the ebay route if you simply MUST go on the 1st. I just love this dudes description:

"There is no cost for you to get in if you are the lucky bidder!"

And another one put out by this same idiot says:

"You are bidding on four admission tickets to Kings Island on the first day it is open to the public."

Well if it was "open to the public" wouldnt that mean that the public is invited and not just contest winners? Well, it is nice to know that "There are only a limited numer of the tickets, so the park will not be full." HIS spelling, not mine!

I did however find these pretty cool viewmaster reels I would like to have!

whats funny though, it says on the ticket may not be resold, etc. I mean, what are the odds of getting caught, and if you really want to go you could buy them, but seriously...

Doubtful. My son Nino's 1st birthday is on Thursday, 3/31. His party is Friday night, 4/1. I need to take him to the pediatrician and one of my cats to the vet on Saturday, 4/2. The only hope I have for PKI is Sunday, 4/3. We'll see.
