I thought it looked like a new roof to cover some equipment. Knowing what's stored in the giant tank next door and/or the building on the other side could be a clue.

I think the construction might be for a new PFAS filtration system given that it’s right next to the water tank. The park filed a permit a while back to install a new PFAS filtration system, which makes sense since Kings Island was recently found to have high levels of forever chemicals in its water.
