As the 2005 season quickly approaches, crews are working hard to put the final touches on the park as well as the many new additions. In coming weeks, popular attractions like Top Gun, Face/Off, and the Eiffel Tower will experience a Hollywood makeover and the new multi-million dollar fast track coaster experience, the ITALIAN JOB: Stunt Track will also race towards completion. Four new dining options have also been added to PKI lineup. These exciting new additions include a new Chic-Fil-A, located in our kid's area, serving a variety of chicken sandwiches and crispy waffle fries. Graeter's Ice Cream settles in its newest location on International Street serving a variety of flavors of premium hand-dipped ice cream, adding yet another Queen City favorite to the park. Also, the all new Happy Days Diner will give a cool spot to hang with your gang and enjoy a unique dining experience complete with entertainment surrounded by memorabilia and characters from the classic television series

Read the bolded text. Is Top Gun also getting a paint job this year? Or could they be re-opening the themed que. What do you all think?

They did that to The Beast last season, remember? The new signs, the sound effects, the video.

Top Gun might be getting a paint job that it needed. Also they might be repairing some parts of effects and things in that long line for the coaster. As for the lower que the last two years I saw empolyes taking parts off and taking them home on the last day.

^ If they did that they would ruin the ride.

I hope they re-open the queue. However, I believe that would be an added position to the ride costing the park more money. We shall soon see. I can't see Top Gun getting a paintjob, it's still pretty fresh from 2000 from what I can remember. Also, did anyone catch that they said FOUR new food locations and listed 3. Happy Days, Chic-Fil-A, Graeters, and _____ I dunno.

Jeff said they're working on getting Starbucks in the park. The deal may be going through

I hope they do something about the line, I would love for them to re-open the inner que, I loved looking at all that stuff in there.

I can see it now: Pilot training vids, "Pilots" in the que, the effects working (beacon lights, fog, maybe some strobes), and a real "ship announcer" like "Fighters Alpha, Delta, and O'Riley now entering the DANGER ZONE!!!" That would be cool! -Hauntguy

Yep it got a paint job, but its still the same colors. Personally I like the colors.

I heard it was going to be Mexican going into the Chinese place. I actually like Mexican better...

It will be a Chipotle-style restaurant. We are still currently working on what will be on the menu though.

Nice more food selections in the park.

Not sure if this has been answered already or not, but the Starbucks deal went through and we are in the process of constuction on Bakery. Right now, its just kinda a hole in the wall. The other new thing is Pablo Charlie's. That is the new Mexican place which is taking over Mandarin. That will most likely not open for a few weeks, same with starbucks. Can't be for sure though. Oh, and Chick-fil-A will HOPEFULLY be opening April 16th or somewhere around there. HOPEFULLY.
