PKI 4-6-05. . . NO CROWDS!

Featured Replies

Well, I must say that I had the good fortune to be the first person at the park this morning (other than the employees. . . although they were strangely absent). What good fortune to be there and allowed to park for free!!!! There wasn't even an attendant at the parking gate!!!! I got a spot right in the front row. . . you could even see it from the main gain!!!

It was quiet as I walked up to the ticket booth. . . none of the music was playing; I'm guessing they must be updating the soundtrack this year (any updates??? INFO NEEDED ON SOUNDTRACK!!) But imagine the glee in my eyes when I saw that there were NO RIDES that were broken down on the list!!!! Alright!! And it was 10:00 but there were no lines at all!!! Man, it was going to be a good day.

But the strangest thing. . . the gates were shut!!! The ticket windows were empty!! The park was closed!!!

I know I'm probably spreading rumor but I MUST KNOW!!! Has Cedar Fair bought and closed down PKI!!!??? I heard someone died on SOB by having their head decaptitated when they stood up. They wouldn't change the park for that. Or are they cleaning up from Easterfest this year (I heard a rumor that it might come back!) Or did the fire at the Italian Job warehouse damage the park more. . . or maybe. . . maybe it's a seceret. . . maybe they closed the park because they don't want us to see the construction on the top-secret RETURN OF THE KING COBRA:Vortex2!!!

Sorry No KC2,Vortex 2...PKI is closed until this weekend thats why no rides were working or why most employees arent there..No CF is not buying PKI,no one died on SOB, there was no fire in ij:st...the park is CLOSED until this weekend.

well i sure hope you're joking but if not here's the explanation.

no CF has not bought PKI. the park was closed today which is why you found no workers there and the gates closed. PKI opens for the public on April 9 (this saturday). um..so yea i seriously hope you were joking though.

I died on SoB, but according to Klockster, I have ridden the Jackhammer train, so that is why.

Yeah, I was joking :-) Just was sitting around bored and I thought it would be a fun post.

You need a hobby man. There are better things to do on the internet than post topics like this on here. If you would have done this on April 1st I would have said yea ok...funny.

Aw, lighten up, it's just a joke. And it was only a joke about an amusement park! It's not like I made a joke about the Pope dying or anything!

Actually, Homer Jay, terrorists blew up SOB into a pile of toothpics. You can now find them on ebay for a price of $10,000 for each toothpick made from SOB.

Indeed.

Here is the problem though. Now that they have done maintenence on the trains, and taken them apart and put them back together - they have mixed them up. It will take a few rides to figure out which was which. The ride I took Friday night was ultra-smooth though, so Ill have to try the other train and see how it is.

Everybody was at SFKK.

lol... actually after reading his discription, I thought maybe he had made a wrong turn and ended up at SFKK.

The parking lot at KK was packed. I have seen pretty days at PKI been dead. One friday night when the park closed at midnight last year I got to the park and had walk-ons all night. It was warm and no rain or anything.
