BoddaH1994
I loved the Maestro at the beginning. I remember how, when I was younger, that the character looked so realistic while it was turned around playing the organ that I couldn't figure out if it was a real person or not. You guys probably recall how it didn't just stand there facing the organ, but it used to shift its back and look back and forth... brilliant, just brilliant.... Enchanted Voyager
Yeah AVG makes really good animatronic characters. I still can't believe they just store those things in a warehouse, they're worth so much. Prolly about 40 thousand each.
Enchanted Voyager
This has been bugging me though. Doesn't look like they coulda just kept all of PT stuff up because all of sdathc is just plywood painted black and tapped over the old scenes. They're only using about 50% of the space in that ride. It's just a shame.
KIBeast
Ryan, the maestro was my favorite as well! I remember one of the first times I was walking through the line, there were some real little kids in front of me and were literally terrified of the Maestro. He did look pretty real! Coasterfan
I liked how they used some of the figures for DHC at FF, come to think of it that was the only good part of that attraction.
Alien Seed
Maestro was by far the best of the ghosts; very creepy, and he had that classic laugh. By the way, the Shakespearean actor was named Lionel Burymore "You think you will be allowed to leave once you have heard my music? I don't think so." pkifreak
The maestro was and will always be the best cause he gave you those chills when you walked in the building with his GREAT organ playing!!
BoddaH1994
Ryan, the maestro was my favorite as well! I remember one of the first times I was walking through the line, there were some real little kids in front of me and were literally terrified of the Maestro. He did look pretty real! The best part was how they managed to make it so it seemed like he looked directly at everyone in the queue area. Of course, it didn't make much sense after the line went directly into the ride house, but when it was packed, it was almost interactive... he was talking directly to you.
