PkiJake13
I got there around 1:00 for my first trip to PKI this year. When I got in I went straight to Italian Job, it was down. Alos I didn't know you had to have a ride reservation ticket to ride. So I went to The Beast, it had what looked to be a long line. All the turnstiles were open even the ones in the station but we only waited for 30 minutes. It was a good ride, it seemed a little faster than normal. The brakes in the shed eithier were not on or were not on hard. Next I went to Racer but it had a long wait so I skipped it and went to Son of Beast. We had to wait about 2 hours, mainly because they had two trains but were only loading one train for a little while. This was my firt ride on it and it was rough. The begining was great really smooth and then we went into the rose bowl and that is where the pain began. After that I had a little headache, but nothing big. Next we went to Scooby Doo's Haunted Mansion, Igot 1,110 points not my best. Then I went back to Delirium, I love this ride. We got on pretty fast considering we started out in the midway waiting for it. I got to sit in seat 6 a seat I have never been in. My ride was great and I am glad I rode it. Next it was time to ride IJST. We only waited one train load to ride. The launch was a lot more powerful than I was expecting, and though helixes have some powerful forces. The helicopter scene was awsome, it was way better than I was figuring it would be. Also I love the tunnel cause you have no idea where you are going. Overall this ride is one of the best I think. I do wish it was alittle bit longer. They said they will be doing the reservation tickets till June 6, this is to help move the lines along. After that I rode TRTR it was great as usual, I loved it. I might be crazy but I tthink there is an extra flip. I rode IJST again, thi time in the dark. The dark really shows off the helicopter scene, I also love the tail and head lights. Then for my last ride Son of Beast, it was a lot smoother this time. Today PKI was packed, the lines were horribly long. It was busier than some summer days at the park. I can't wait till I go back in a couple weeks. Thank You for reading, Jake ***Also while riding Delirium I noticed the Antique Cars, cars behind Slingshot and besides Delirium. They are in that field next two both of those rides.***
CoastersRZ
Well, for starters, TR:TR has the same program it has had since the ride opened in 2002. Secondly, if they moved the `Tiques (I didn`t go to the park this weekend because I made my first trip to Holiday World yesterday) to behind Delirium and Slingshot, it could be because they are beginning to prepare the protective structure for the Nickelodeon Parade floats that they had last year behind the Zeypher. Delirium13
I was also at the park Saturday. So instead of starting a new topic I'll just write my report here. Me and my friends got to the park around 12:00 and had to wait about 15 minutes to get my picture taken for my Gold Pass. But when I finally got into the park we headed over to IJ:ST and found out, from Jeff Seibert, that we needed a ride reservation ticket. We went and got one, but we didn't get to go on until 8:30, so we went over to The Beast. we had to wait about and hour and 15 minutes to get on. It was a fun ride as always, and I agree it did seem a lot faster and I didn't feel any brakes until the very end of the brake shed and they didn't slow us down much at all. After that I got a milkshake from the Happy Day's Diner, it was really good but it was kinda overpriced. After that we headed over to Top Gun and waited about 45 minutes, I noticed that the 2 planes in the queue line were missing. Only the stand was there. Top Gun was also very fun. We then went to TR:TR and waited a little over an hour. I love Tomb Raider, but the part where you are facing the lava gives me a bad headache while it's going on, It goes away right away though. Overall the ride was a whole lot of fun. We looked around in the candy in the candy shop for a while and bought some candy, and got some dinner. By then it was about time to head over to The Italian Job. The line moved really fast and since you needed a reservation ticket the line was short and we got into the station in about 15-20 minutes. We were about 3 trains away when it broke, so we decided to wait. It opened after abot 10 minutes. The crew did a good job of getting it ready again, and finally it was our turn to ride. The Launch was a lot better than I expected, and the whole ride was great, even though the police cars, the helicopter scene, the rumbling affects or the peeling out affects weren't working for my ride. The helix was great, the overbanked turn was awesome, both of the launches and the boost were great, the tunnel was excellent and so was the splashdown, and form watching the helicopter scene from off the ride tjhat looks awesome. I also liked the headlights and tail lights. The Italian Job, even without most of the effects, is now my second favorite ride in the park and I can't wait to ride again. We Watched it a few more times and then rode the Grand Carousel. The carousel was pretty fast for a carousel. Overall I had a great day and am planning to go back up next week. BoddaH1994
I agree that IJ is better in the dark. I don't know how much mist they were shooting in the tunnel this weekend, but the week it opened, they had so much that you clould clearly see the beams from the headlights. It was awesome. PkiJake13
I didn't notice any mist in the tunnel scene this weekend. Also I noticed that the cop cars turn on I guess when the train passes a sensor and then they turn off. I remeber from the video in April they ran continousely. I also got my Gold Pass, since we ordered ares on the internet we got to skip the long line and go down some stairs to some pass picture area. We also got the season pass cupp. This was just some things I for got. -Jake

PkiJake13
Yeah, also is this how the Gold Pass Speed Lane will work? -Jake
BoddaH1994
Yeah, also is this how the Gold Pass Speed Lane will work? -Jake Assuming it's going to work how it has the past few weeks, you go under the Eiffel Tower to the information kiosk, flash your gold pass and they give you a little card with a time on it. You take that card to the fast pass line at the appropriate time.
PKI_Diana
Ryan, You now get tickets at the ride line queue (front) not at the Eiffel Tower Kiosk.

Gordon Bombay
Tower seems like it would be fun to work, I hope I get sent there some time.
PKIVortex
Tower wasn't too bad to work. But I never got trained in the vator. I did platform and base. It was kinda fun standing on platform just looking around and talking with guests.
