TOPGUN1993
What rides at Cedar Point should I ride and not miss. I love thrill rides.
HabloRM
All of them. Everything from the Matterhorn to Top Thrill Dragster.
PKI_Diana
I skipped all the rides that we have identicals at PKI.
Captain Picard
Disaster Transport, wait in line all day if you have to.
Coasterfan
All of the major rides. Whatever you do don't miss Millennium Force or Top Thrill Dragster. Try to ride MF at night if you can, it's a blast! Oh yeah, Demon Drop is great too.
TOPGUN1993
I have rode Demon Drop before it is my favorite FLAT.
coastergirl
Raptor is my favorite. Wicked Twister is also good one. They were the only ones I felt like it was worth waiting for. I was disappointed with MF and Magnum XL. They are good coasters but I thought they were really over rated. TTD was not working when we were there so we didn't get to ride it. Disaster Transport is a joke! I would pass on that one for sure!
Coasterfan
Wow, I didn't know it was possible for some one to like coasters and not like those two.
Vortex
Well Mean Streak was a good wooden coaster, but know days its about of breaks and pain.
coastergirl
Wow, I didn't know it was possible for some one to like coasters and not like those two. I just thought they were boring. There is so much hype around MF and my expectations were very high for it and it just didn't live up to them. The first hill is tall but other then that there was nothing exciting about it. I got off the ride feeling very let down.
CoastersRZ
I thouroughly enjoyed Millenium Forze, with its non stop speed, and that first drop is incredible. I prefered MF over Top Thrill Dragster, simply because MF was longer (ie more bang for the long wait in line). Now Top Thrill was an incredible ride experience, being catapulted up to 120 mph, and up a 420` is something that one does not do everyday. So to each their own, but I foound both to be enjoyable. Captain Nemo
I would ride MF over TTD any time. MF is so much better than TTD.
moore
MF is awesome. Luckily on my first ride we chose the so-called ejector seat (car five). You feel a tremendous amount of air on each hill. Everyone says Top Gun is better than Iron Dragon but it provides a different ride experience compared to the other coasters at CP. It's track is mostly in the tree filled lagoon and you feel like you are about to hit most of them!
The-Snapper
All of them. Everything from the Matterhorn to Top Thrill Dragster. Hey Hablo isnt Dragster at Six Flags???? Im confused ? Help me!!!!!
Ben
No, Top Thrill Dragster is at Cedar Point. http://rcdb.com/ig1896.htm
KIBeast
Top Thrill Dragster is at Cedar Point. Kingda Ka is the one at Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. Millennium Force is one you don't want to miss. Power Tower is a good flat and if it is working, so is Chaos. Wicked Twister is awesome and looks great on the beach. Disaster Transport is a must miss unless you want the coaster credit. Magnum XL200 is pretty good with lots of ejector air time. The Mantis is a good standing coaster. Unfortunately, it has slow loading/unloading, so the line is ususally long. Raptor is still ranked in the top ten inverted coasters in the world and is a real thrill. Mean Streak is a decent wood coaster and has some good head choppers. Geminii is a cool racin coaster with some good air and a great final helix. Blue Streak is pretty decent and has some air time. I would also give maXair a try, even if you have been on Delirium at PKI. From what I have heard, maXair gives two more full swings than Delirium. Cedar Creek Mine ride is ok for that kind of coaster...no better and no worse than Adventure Express. Dragster is a very short ride, but the rush is amazing. HelixSpiral
Actually, I think maXair seemed to be shorter than Delirium.
KIBeast
^But it is actually longer. I've seen it discussed on many other boards.
Captain Picard
Cedar Point PKI Time them in the video. Maxair is longer
tubaman
Disaster Transport, wait in line all day if you have to. O yea! Theming was great!
TOPGUN1993
It looks like a great family ride. Am I right ???
bdboy007
Think PKI will ever get a coaster like Top Thrill Dragster?
moore
I highly doubt we will see anything close to TTD at PKI. The closest thing to it that PKI has even a smidget of a chance would be a small rocket. I obviously doubt that though.
Buckeye-Beast
I'm with Coastergirl on this one, I waited 45 minutes for MF and that was too long. Other than the first hill they was no other thrill for me. Raptor on the other hand, I rode 3 or 4 times and I would have to say It's the best they offer. MAGXL was good for some airtime and I enjoed it more than MF. Wicked Twister was good for what it is, I prefer FaceOff over it though. KIBeast
I'd rather PKI get something like Storm Runner than TTD.
screamingnight
What is it like going 120 mph? What is that ride called the magnum like? What bou that ride at Cedar Point called corkscrew any good?
KIBeast
Corkscrew is decent, but short. But, you have to keep in mind that it was built before the Arrow mega loopers like Vortex. It was the first coaster with three inversions. Being launched at 120 mph is something you can't describe, but must experience. Magnum is still one of the best in the park. Good big drops and great bunny hops with lots of air time at the end.
Jasper
Disaster Transport is an alright ride but i would not wait in a big line for it. Mean Streak had its days but know it has trim brakes on the hill and it is just rough.
