August 9, 200521 yr Almost every day, u will find a first aid cart at one ride or another. Normally, nothing is serious. Just people getting sick. Its okay.
August 10, 200521 yr I was at the park, at Delirium, when this happened. The first aid cart was in the area simply because of a guy suffering from, what I assume, was heat exhaustion...he was put in the back, wife got in the front, and they left for first aid. The guy was given a cold cloth to put on his neck on the way out of the area. Delirium did close for a short time around the time of the incident, but I think it was closed for technical difficulties. I saw a guy from maintenance climb the ladder to the top, and come down a few minutes later. After that, they cycled it a few times while empty, and then allowed people to hop back on. ....I was part of that group, and I've got to say, it was GREAT to finally be back on my baby Delirium!!!
August 10, 200521 yr I was a close at Delirium yesterday, and I was the one who called first aid because this guy was about to get sick and needed some help. Also from the time I was at work at 3:45 the ride never shut down.
August 10, 200521 yr No, no, you guys have it all wrong. The cotton candy guy told me that some guy was in the restricted area around Deli when it was in full swing. Apparently, the gondola took his head off which was then kicked by an employee over to the basketball game where it was given as a prize. Hope that clears it up for you.
August 10, 200521 yr Good one PKIBeast. Strange thing is, the Funnel Cakes Guy told me the same thing.
August 10, 200521 yr I heard that from a guy who said he was really good friends with the glassblower's son's friend.
August 11, 200521 yr Those patato works employees, what will they think of next? The truth is, that Cedar Point operatives snuck in and sabotaged Delerium in an attempt to make Cedar Point look better! The first aid truck was just a cover. In the words of Admiral Ackbar... http://traprap.ytmnd.com/
August 12, 200521 yr LOL! That's hilarious! I did hear a rumor though that Delirum is sinking into the ground. That sounded completely bogus when I heard it but it has been closed down every time that I have visited the park except for one time. I'm guessing that it's just my luck that it's closed because the ride is freaking amazing! But, can we lay this rumor to rest that it's fine?
August 12, 200521 yr It is in the same spot that King Kobra was in and it never sank, did it? lol I am sure it will be around for a few more years.
August 12, 200521 yr Well I know its not sinking but if you think about it there is alot more force on those 4 poles on Delirium than king cobra cause on KC the force would be more spread out however on deliruim the force is like on a smaller area.
August 12, 200521 yr ^It all started with that Magnum XL200 at Cedar Point is sinking. People believed it because they cannot dig too deep as they would meet the water table. But, fortunately, they never have to dig that deep.
August 13, 200521 yr The Eiffel Tower is leaning, too! Just look very carefully... closer... ...closer ...closer
