Reclaimer
Quick question, as I'm curious...though I'm sure I know the answer to this question. Are the special uniforms for the IJ crew only to be used this year, for its first season, or do you think it's a permanent thing? Also, do you get to keep your uniforms or do you have to turn them back in? I really love those uniforms, and would die to be able to buy one from somebody if it wasn't to be used after this season, and if it is allowed. (Doubtful, but I'm asking, just in case!) CoastersRZ
Are you referring to the black button up shirts? Because I rode IJST on Sunday, and the crew had switched to a grey collared shirt from the IJST black shirts that they had been using earlier in the season. Reclaimer
I'm talking about the black button ups. I love those! It'd be awesome just to have it as a nifty little keepsake.
Admiral Ackbar
I believe the black one is their temperate weather shirt and the gray one is for hot weather.
DeLorean Rider
We wear the grey shirts when the temperature high is supposed to be above 85, black when it is below. Yes we get to keep them, and no you cant them. Also if you havn't noticed we wear different shorts, we wear park issued Cargo Shorts (the same worn in Boomerang Bay). Like any other different uniforms for rides, this will probably be the only year for them.
Admiral Ackbar
It looks weird when IJST people are working other rides - like HB rides...
DeLorean Rider
The worst is when you're just walking into the park for a shift, and people see you in your uniform and start asking you questions about the ride. How long is the line? Is it open yet? Why did it break down before? You're just like WTF, I just got here, I have no clue.
Reclaimer
That does suck. I have to experience that at my work...just getting there, and getting questions about events that happened while you weren't there.
pkiboy
And becides the grey shirts that they wear are 100% cotton
DeLorean Rider
Yes where the black ones are 85% Polyester. Theyre like a raincoat, I used to pour a whole glass of water in to the chest pocket just to make a point that no water could leak out, and when i did, Absolutely no water would leak out. I was wearing the IJST T-shirt a few weeks back and a group of people came up to me and where like "Where is it? What's it like? How long is the line?" It's like they're interigating you and I'm not even an employee!
Reclaimer
Alright, so I guess since those shirts are off limits ...does anyone know of a place that sells nice black button up shirts similar to the IJST ones?
flightoffear1996
Not unless you can find one at the park by im sure you could make one at Caffe Press as long as the park dont see it for copy right laws or what not.
pcwfreak
But I think those uniforms have the logo on the sleves. Good luck lol
Reclaimer
I'm talking plain black button ups...Not exact copies of the IJ shirts. I can't find any clothing stores online that sell them... ..then again, I don't know many clothing stores online that might carry them. FOF/Z 4-ever
I know KI sales some really cool IJ shirts, but not the same exact. They used to have a cart saling the shirts right out side IJ

Buckeye-Beast
Did anybody else notice the IJST photo trailer has Florida plates still? That makes me think it's just temporary.
SkootersFan
Why would they change the plates? It doesnt need a plate at all since it's parked. Or maybe it'l go back to florida for the offseason. ANyways Photo trailers are not temporary.

ANyways Photo trailers are not temporary. If the trailer is a permanent resident don't they have a limited amount of time to change the plates over? Also, The SOB trailer was gone for a short time at the beginning of the year so it was temporary. They brought it back once the season was in full swing but if it was not a permanent fixture. Why would they haul it back to Florida for the off season? Do they use them for other parks during our off season?
Reclaimer
I don't see how they could. It's pretty well tailored to the theme of IJ...and PCW and PKI are the only parks with IJ....this year.
FOF/Z 4-ever
Maybe they were house or built in florida by another company.
DeLorean Rider
The black shirts were made special, we had to wait a while for them, then they changed the design of them so now we have the black shirts with the two stripes and the patch on the sleve. FOF/Z 4-ever
you get to keep all the shirts that they made for the crew though? you dont have to turn them in at the end of the season? Does the sups get the same shirt or do they have the regular white shirt?
