From the desk of Maureen Kaiser:

The photo shoots continue!!!!

Not only can you be on national TV with National Geographic, but NOW you

can be forever known as a PKI enthusiast. We are filming a Paramount

Parks video tomorrow and Thursday.....and our corporate advertising team

needs your help!!!

As is typical, we need you to come in brightly colored shirts and jeans

or shorts. Please refrain from hats if possible. The directors have also

asked that you bring a change of clothing (especially shirt) just in

case you get wet on the water rides.

The schedule and needs are listed below. Lunch will not be provided for

this shoot, but we'll be riding some cool stuff. Yay!! Come for all

segments, come for one.....just let me know if you're planning to attend

by emailing maureen.kaiser@paramountparks.com. You'll enter through Post

3 and Mike Fillhardt or another member of our marketing/advertising team

will escort you back.

Please arrive 30 minutes before the scheduled shoot. Children are more

than welcome!

Paramount's Kings Island - named 2004's #1 seasonal theme park in the

WORLD by Amusement Business magazine.

If there's any way you can make it please e-mail Maureen at Maureen.Kaiser@ParamountParks.com. The marketing team has always done a lot for enthusiasts and the members of the PKIC community so PLEASE do what you can to be there! It's so rare that they call on us, and whenever they do, we end up on TV!! biggrin.gif

Ryan

How do you get in because I thought the park was closed ????

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're supposed to meet a half hour before the shoot begins at SECURITY POST 3. That's the employee entrance and is to the right of the main entrance. That's the regular procedure, so follow that unless instructed otherwise.

Do you suppose it is too late to email her with regards to The Vortex shoot tomorrow morning? It is 10:20 now. I got an email from Russ Johnson, and I recieved it at 8:30 this evening so I do not know when it was sent out, and if she would get my email for tomorrow. Just another example of PKI going out of their way to provide us enthusiasts some excellent opportunities!

I would email her - she'll get it in the morning and know youre coming. Just make sure you're not late. If they bring people in anything like they do for The Beast Walkback - then they will leave promptly at 7:30. laugh.gif

Considering that there probably wont be that many people on such short notice - they would probably be happy to have anyone there that comes.

Oh sure.....make fun of the messenger. HAHA! I deserve it!!! Sometimes I wonder if my head is attached!! I suppose that's what we get for moving so fast.

Thanks so much for your participation today.....and tomorrow. I know it was very short notice, and our corporate advertising team thanks you for your patience and willingness to help.

For those keeping score at home, we are also hosting a National Geographic shoot on Sept. 28 and 29. We will film on the 28th from 8:30 - 4 p.m. and on the 29th from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Both days will feature Son of Beast, Flight of Fear and possibly Top Gun. Please note that the ZEPHYR will not be shot on either day. tongue.gif

If you are interested, please meet us 30 minutes before the scheduled shoot time at Security Post 3. Please wear brightly colored tops and shorts or jeans. No logos or hats, please. Lunch will be provided.

Email me (maureen.kaiser@paramountparks.com) if you're interested. I would love for you to join us, and we've already logged many great volunteers. The more the merrier.

FYI, National Geographic is spotlighting LIM launch coasters, as well as the engineering/construction marvel that is SoB. We will be filming all day Tuesday on IJ, but we don't need any riders for that. Should be a fantastic segment.

Thanks again, PKIC! You rock.
