BoddaH1994
How do you get in because I thought the park was closed ???? I'm going to go out on a limb and say you're supposed to meet a half hour before the shoot begins at SECURITY POST 3. That's the employee entrance and is to the right of the main entrance. That's the regular procedure, so follow that unless instructed otherwise.

CoastersRZ
Do you suppose it is too late to email her with regards to The Vortex shoot tomorrow morning? It is 10:20 now. I got an email from Russ Johnson, and I recieved it at 8:30 this evening so I do not know when it was sent out, and if she would get my email for tomorrow. Just another example of PKI going out of their way to provide us enthusiasts some excellent opportunities!
TheKlockster
I will be there. The magnificent - THE ONE AND ONLY - THE KLOCKSTER! I will be there at 7:30 am. Well knowing me like 7:35 am.
CoastersRZ
Did you email Maureen? At what time? I would like to go but do not know if it is too late to email her to attend tomorrow morning.
TheKlockster
I emailed her but I have received no reply. Regardless I am gonna be there! I can always get in through the employee entrance without an escort...
CoastersRZ
Yes, but I do not have that luxury!
TheKlockster
I would email her - she'll get it in the morning and know youre coming. Just make sure you're not late. If they bring people in anything like they do for The Beast Walkback - then they will leave promptly at 7:30. Considering that there probably wont be that many people on such short notice - they would probably be happy to have anyone there that comes. BoddaH1994
If anyone wants to go, don't hesitate to e-mail Maureen. I have no doubt she'll check it first thing in the morning. On such short notice, they need all the people they can get!

TheKlockster
I don't know if I will go to the one tomorrow or the one tonight. The Vortex one was AWESOME. It was a lot of fun. I got six rides on Vortex. They kept stopping the train in the block brakes to time it right with the shot they wanted. That was SOOOO cool! TheKlockster
Also - CoastersNSich was there - and I THINK Coastersrz - but I am not sure if it was him. He mentioned Coney Island - so I think he was.

PKIMaureen
Oh sure.....make fun of the messenger. HAHA! I deserve it!!! Sometimes I wonder if my head is attached!! I suppose that's what we get for moving so fast. Thanks so much for your participation today.....and tomorrow. I know it was very short notice, and our corporate advertising team thanks you for your patience and willingness to help. For those keeping score at home, we are also hosting a National Geographic shoot on Sept. 28 and 29. We will film on the 28th from 8:30 - 4 p.m. and on the 29th from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Both days will feature Son of Beast, Flight of Fear and possibly Top Gun. Please note that the ZEPHYR will not be shot on either day. If you are interested, please meet us 30 minutes before the scheduled shoot time at Security Post 3. Please wear brightly colored tops and shorts or jeans. No logos or hats, please. Lunch will be provided. Email me (maureen.kaiser@paramountparks.com) if you're interested. I would love for you to join us, and we've already logged many great volunteers. The more the merrier. FYI, National Geographic is spotlighting LIM launch coasters, as well as the engineering/construction marvel that is SoB. We will be filming all day Tuesday on IJ, but we don't need any riders for that. Should be a fantastic segment. Thanks again, PKIC! You rock.
