screamingnight Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 If the one that you like that is not on here just vote "other" Quote
Jasper Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Mine would have to be a Cobra Roll because you just get that feeling of being out of control when you are in the middle of it. Quote
tubaman Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 I vote for anyone of those. I really don't have a favorite, they're all fun. Quote
screamingnight Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 Thanks everyone for voting. Quote
MrPKI Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Barrel Roll like B&M zero-g rolls. Those are awesome. Quote
elitescr3 Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 every single one of them is fun, but cobra rolls are probably the best. Quote
Firefall Pkd Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 Sea Serpent like that found on Medusa at SFMW. I think rcdb calles it a "roll over" and as far as I know it's the only one on a B&M coaster, floorless no less... Quote
TheKlockster Posted October 8, 2005 Posted October 8, 2005 (edited) I like the Arrow Boomerang - also known as a Batwing. This is what the last two inversions of Vortex is made of. It is similar to the sidewinder and cobra roll to so those are good. 1,500th post Edited October 8, 2005 by TheKlockster Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 Definently Zero-G rolls. As featured on my favorite coaste TOP GUN: THE JET COASTER! Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 The most borning inversion has got to be the vertical loop. Quote

TheKlockster Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 The loop is still exciting - just not as crazy as some of the other elements. The loop is still exciting - just not as crazy as some of the other elements. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 I dont even find them exciting anymore really cept a few expections like the high speed ones but like the ones on The Vortex I think I just a little bit dull. Quote
Legend Rider Posted October 9, 2005 Posted October 9, 2005 The most borning inversion has got to be the vertical loop. And this is the one I voted for, its best when at nice high speeds, but its even more fun if at lower speeds, HANGTIME!! Greezed Lightnin' Rocks!! Vertical Loop is Classic, at least the Eliptical is classic... Circular loop is DEAD. Quote
screamingnight Posted October 9, 2005 Author Posted October 9, 2005 Personally I like sidewinders. Quote
DeLorean Rider Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 For the record, a cobra roll and a boomerang are totally different. Yes they are both two half loops and two halves of a corkscrew but the experience is totally different. Vortex has a Boomerang, fof and faceoff have cobra rolls. Quote
Captain Nemo Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 "Do a barrel Roll!!!" I love barrel rolls... why? When I was young the first looping roller coaster I did had a Barrel Roll and I remember thinking how cool it was. Quote
RailRider Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 Immelman on a B&M Inverted has to be my favorite. Quote
Braves0511 Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 The coolest looking inversion I have ever seen is on Superman: Ultimate Flight at SF over Georgia. It is called a pretzel loop, and is basically an upside down vertical loop, where you enter the element from the top instead of the bottom. Quote
Jasper Posted October 10, 2005 Posted October 10, 2005 I think vertical loops are boring unless they are either really high up ur you go through them fast. Quote

Actually all of the superman ultimate flights have that inversion. Quote
DeLorean Rider Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 BTW i assume by sidewender you ment, sidewinder, but i have not been able to find that element, could you please inform me, this could be my favorite elemtnt without me even knowing. Quote
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted October 11, 2005 Posted October 11, 2005 Also, a Cobra Roll and a Boomerang are two different things. http://www.rcdb.com/ig277.htm?picture=9 Thats a Cobra Roll http://www.rcdb.com/ig71.htm?picture=6 Thats a Boomerang. Quote
