On Friday PKI was hardly crowded for a Fearfest night, but since it was the last weekend of high school football for some teams maybe thats where the crowd was. I arrived at the park at 5:55 and got into the park about 6:00. We went to hit Delerium but it was closed. censored.gifmad.gif So we went to Face-off with an extremely short line 10 minutes maybe. We then went to Top Gun and barely made it in time to walk on.

We then went to get a Speed Lane ticket but the guest relations wasnt open so we went to IJST and waited for 5 minutes and got the first seat. The front seat in my opinion is the nicest place to ride on this attraction. We then went to TR:TR and waited for about 10 minutes to get onto the ride. We then made our way over to The Beast and someone threw up in one of the cars so they send all of the trains out about 3 times and then decided to take the train off the track. After about 15 minutes of waiting to get onto the ride finally did in the dark.

I made my way to Adventure Express and then to one of the funnest thing of the night, Sleepy Hollow. It was quiet an adveture threw the woods. The staff of sleepy hollow was great. Then I went to ride Vortex and then to The Racer. I was hoping to ride the Recar but I had to ride The Racer which was still ok. After a pretty good night I decided to go home since my hands were pretty much frozen.

I went to FearFest friday with some friends I dunno I like the fog and I love CornStalkers but I just didnt care for FearFest it just isnt for me.

Well, Delirium has had a bad year. It was down most of the summer due to waiting for the arrival of the new gear. It has had sporatic operation since the park went to weekend operations. Not sure if it is a staffing issue, or somehow related to the fact that they shortened the ride cycle. Or maybe, rather, the ride cycle was shortened to prevent a part from wearing and breaking, to avoid it closing down while a new part was installed. It was open last Sunday, when the park was deserted and closed at 4. It definantly wasn`t as fun with the new shorter cycle, but it is still a fun ride.

To me its kinda funny, with delerium being down for most of the summer. Then I finlly get to ride it this year and it was a walk on. Friday night was COLD!!! wacko.gif

I think you guys are mistaken in saying the ride cycle was shortened. They actually added one extra pass on the slowdown so that it would ease to a stop easier. Instead of 13 passes it now makes 14. It doesnt matter, now since huss made them close it.

What I mean is that instead of the normal four to five swings at full height, it was only making 2 swings at full height. HUSS made them close it? I wonder if Maxair was closed this past weekend as well?

No the problem with our huss rides is that they're prototypes or at least not far from prototypes. Yes, I heard its the same type of thing as before, that if the ride operates the way it is now it is definately going to happen again. This time theyre going to try to fix it before it does happen.
