italianchef
Last night I was suppsed to go to WinterFest preview with my wife and my friend Flo was to watch my son. Mrs. Chef didn't feel well so she stayed home with Toddler Chef and Flo went with me to WinterFest. Traffic was backed up due to an accident, so we got there late. We did ride Scooby Doo and the Christmas Caper, saw the parade, saw the holiday show at the Paramount Theater, and ate the delicious Christmas food. While there we ran into Boddah (Ryan) and chatted for a while. It was an awesome time. I highly recommend WinterFest. Happy Thanksgiving, Italian Chef
Gordon Bombay
Was the Scooby Doo ride any different?
CoastersRZ
Nope, not even a christmas hat or strand of lights anywhere within the ride. The ride was EXACTLY the same.
PKI_Diana
That was the one and only disappointing thing about winterfest!!!!!!!!
Jasper
Wow that really surprised me. But you have to think, it would take a lot more money to make it up into a christmas theme.
CoastersRZ
Well, a couple of strands of garland with lights. A Christmas hat or two here and there, a couple boxes of presents. It wouldn`t cost all that much.
KIemployeeforlife
But if KI were to go and add decorations they would do more than a couple of hats and presents. They would go all out. So it would take more money. If they cant go all out with it then they wont do it.
CoastersRZ
Well, even a couple of strands of garland in the queue room would have made it feel more festive and like WinterFest. Once you stepped inside the building, it felt like you were there on just a normal summer day.
italianchef
I too was surprised, but not disappointed, that SDATHC looked exactly the same.
