CoastersRZ Posted February 20, 2006 Posted February 20, 2006 Most of the supervisor positions are most likely basedon seniority with the park. Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Marketing Express, you told them to be good, little associates. My question was what if they are good, big associates... Oh, never mind... Quote
PKI_Diana Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Are there any management or supervisor positions open for college graduates or is it purely based upon seniority? If you are a college graduate, I'd set my sights higher. The pay for supervisors in most departments isn't high. And college is hardly ever a requirement for supervisor positions, or even for management positions. Quote
WooferBearATL Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Yeah, but I was a supervisor all the way through college. The bonuses we received each year paid a good chunk of my tuition. I actually worked the summer after graduating and it was a nice transition. Quote
cewldre Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 I worked my way into supervisor now AM positions in games. I will not say pay is super great, but I love what I do and it pays the bills and gives me spending cash... What more can I ask for? I'd hate to work somewhere I didn't like... and make less. Until I get my degree this is the best job for me. Even after I will stick around until I find that perfect full time job where it's fun and benefits are nice. I know it may take some time to find that, but I am happy where I am until then. Quote

I actually already have a full time job and was thinking that if there was one place for which I wanted to make a little extra money then why not do it at PKI. After all, this will probably be my very last year that I'll have an opp to apply. Quote

cewldre Posted March 6, 2006 Posted March 6, 2006 and judging by the happy sort of feel to the posts, I shall assume you were hired into rides... Where? Quote
TheKlockster Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 Vortex No - I don't know - but it seems EVERYONE is getting hired for Vortex this year... Quote
DeliriumDreamer Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I wonder who's going to be on my crew... I don't know of that many returners so far... Quote
Legend Rider Posted March 7, 2006 Posted March 7, 2006 I wonder who's going to be on my crew... I don't know of that many returners so far... My Mom is on your crew Quote
PKIPoodle Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 nope, not Vortex. Nick U. rides i heard mentioned were the Fairly OddCoaster and the LazyTown SportaCopters. and whatever the little car ride turned into (i think it used to be the alleycat 500 or something like that) i think its now called Blues Skidoo or something....maybe thats the wrong ride. *shrug* anyone else on here working Nick U? Quote
holeinone888221 Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 You choose Nick U? WOW. I salute you for your bravery yet shun you for your stupidity. Nah, I'm just joking. Good luck this year. Quote
PKIPoodle Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 i just hope i dont have to hear spongebob all day, or i might have to get out of there for the good of my mental health lol Quote
TheKlockster Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Actually the place where you hear Spongebob all day is Vortex. I personally love it. It is The Vortex version of Tomb Raiders loading drums. Quote
holeinone888221 Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 It won't be the same to step in kiddie land and hear the likes of Spongebob and the Fairly Oddparents. You are supposed to hear Scooby Doo and the Flintstones. Quote
PKIPoodle Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 well, the music over by The Vortex might change this year as there is another motion sim over there with bob....but since there's a spongebob neighborhood or whatever at Nick U....chances are good for "ARE YA READY KIDS?!" or whatever the words are...i switch it off about at the pause before he says it xD... but hey, maybe ill hear more cozzy (cosmo) than bob....*pray pray* wow, orientation saturday....*nervous*... (btw.....in my opinion, the loading drums of Tomb Raider is much more standable because you cant really tell sometimes when it starts again....unlike that luau stuff at the Theatre...) and who all here is working rides and where? Quote
holeinone888221 Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I'll be at Racer for my second year. Quote
PKIPoodle Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 i know thats not everybody...lol, who else is working rides? any Nick U's? Quote
