Looks like it was in the mid 90's after the Paramount buy out. The major attractions (Top Gun, Vortex, Beast, Eiffel Tower) had a "5 Star Rating" at the entrance of the ride....Sadly my Adventure Express didnt---how unfair is this!!

this is coming from really reliable source ...the pic was taken this coming year in 06! smile.gif

That pic has been on rcdb atleast since last year. Plus, if this was taken in 06 why are there leaves on the trees?

i'd say aobut three years, i remeber the 5 Star sign (which this ride SO deserves.) and i have a picture something like that with the year on the back.. hehe.. very nice picture BTW! love it! biggrin.gif

and for those of you thinking that this was taken in '06, look again, unless they rebuilt the entrace building that is to clean to be from this year. unless someone can prove to me that this was taken in '06 i am stikin' with my answer andanyways now that i look close at, there is a detail but now i cannot recognize it.

My guess would be between 1996, when the QTVs were installed, and early 2000s, when they took down the '5-Star Attraction' signs. Those signs were placed on some of the more popular/'recommended' rides and attractions in 1994 and possibly 1995 and 96 as well, such as Nickelodeon Splat City and Outer Limits: Flight of Fear.
