Gordon Bombay
^Many parks use that photo for promotion, in particuarly six flags. Its also common to see this picture in many math and science text books.
Jasper
We had a textbook last year that had Batman:The Ride on the cover. Our very own Vortex is one of the most publiciced (if thats how you spell it) coasters ever. I never thought that would happen. Couldnt we actually have some contraversy if Six Flags uses it. Kings Island probably had the picture taken or its taken from a clip of one of their promotional videos, the video that that picture is taken from is played in The Beast que line on the 25th anniversary movie. To use the picture I'm sure some agreement was reached wiith Kings Island/Paramount parks/whover owns it.
The Interpreter
My favorite was the year that Paramount's Kings Island's Vortex appeared in the plastic fronts of the Coke machines at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom!!!

The Interpreter
As you might guess, those machines have long since been CHANGed.
Captain Nemo
If you take a picture of Vortex from your home camera do you have to ask PKI for permission to post it on the web? Now I don't think another park would do it the Peeps way and advertise their park with another coaster from another park. Maybe Paramount was very very nice and likes to share ! The Interpreter
It is a common practice. Done throughout the industry. Today I use your picture, next year you use mine. And it is ALL with permission. There is more cooperation in the industry than most realize, especially as to safety and information exchanges. Gordon Bombay
Nemo, I dont think they mind if you share your pic on the web, but I dont think theyd like it if you used it in an advertisement and gained profit from it without recognizing them.
