TheKlockster Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I was just wondering if anybody had noticed any signs of Cedar Fair beginning to get rid of the Paramount stuff? I rode the Mini Cooper Test Track - what I believe Cedar Fair is calling Italian Job Stunt Track - the other day and I could hardly believe my eyes... Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I noticed that the other day while I was doing some photogrpah and filming work, you beat me to it, my batteries in my camera were dead. Quote
TheKlockster Posted June 6, 2006 Author Posted June 6, 2006 It is real. It was taken with a Kodak Easyshare CX7300. Quote

TheKlockster Posted June 6, 2006 Author Posted June 6, 2006 I think it used to say Welcome to downtown Hollywood. Quote

TheKlockster Posted June 6, 2006 Author Posted June 6, 2006 I don't really know anything about this so called "photoshop". If I need print outs I usually just take my memory card up to Wal Mart. Is that what you mean? Quote
ZosoBeast Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 klockster, you are such a kidder! Walmart!? LOL!!! Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 I won't beleive it till I see it when my own eyes. I know both of you are really good with photoshop. When have I made a photoshop? Quote
PKIVortex Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 LOL He must be tired of Target? "This is your restroom checkup reminder, the last hourly checkup was incomplete, who is available" LOL! Quote
TheKlockster Posted June 6, 2006 Author Posted June 6, 2006 Our button is actually broke - so we do the checkups but according to DTK we don't. A new button has been on order for like 2 months now... Seriously though lets discuss that photo. Could this be the beginning of retheming? Quote
DeLorean Rider Posted June 6, 2006 Posted June 6, 2006 OMFG. Thats not cool. They dont even technically own us yet. If they can change our signs now, then we should at least be able to get into their parks for free, LOL. Now you need to photoshop a Paramount and Cedar Fair pass. Quote

deidre1976 Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I wouldn't know if it is true or not, everytime I go to ride the IJST its closed.....I think they see me coming! Quote
italianchef Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 It almost looks real. Funny. No such change has been made and CF hasn't even finalized the deal yet. And in my guess, CF will keep the ride the way it is, but change the name to something like "LA Highway". Have a great day! Italian Chef Quote
Skywriter Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 I think it used to say Welcome to downtown Hollywood. You know what Photoshop is you made the TRTRGuy's banner after he post so your pic is a Photoshop. Quote
harvesterofyoursorrow Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Klockster, you should of atleast filled out the EXIF data so we knew it wasnt photoshop! Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 Any park that can put six flags over Coney Mall... Any park that can have a game called Power Tower... Any park chain that can put the initials of the other Paramount Parks as runway markers at PCWo... Can certainly change that sign so it DOES read like the one posted. I, for one, think the idea is brilliant. I'd love to see them do that...and before the takeover. I do, however, wonder what will become of the Paramount Story...which Paramount Parks itself completely and totally ignored for what? The last five years? When was the last movie "stone" added to any of these? It seems it has been at least that long... Quote

I think it would be cool if an outdoor Japanese rock or American botanical garden was built in what is now the "Paramount Story". But I doubt that will happen. Have a great day! Italian Chef Quote

GrandPoobah Posted June 7, 2006 Posted June 7, 2006 This is clearly not real, the sign points to northbound U.S. Route 4, which is in New England. Everybody knows that the road to Sandusky is actually Ohio State Route 4 Quote
