I just looked at the front page carefully and I noticed on The Beast picutre. Now what I noticed was it said Kings Island on the train right above The Beast logo. Not Paramounts Kings Island. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah it has always been on there. i do not believe they need to spoil a world class coaster such as The Beast with the paramount name.

^ I agree! There is no such thing as a stupid post! Unless of course you say something totally irrevelant to the topic that you post in like..."I want pickles for lunch"...OMG I just quoted my science teacher blink.gif

Pickles for lunch at KI? About 12 bucks, probably. Then again, some people filch them off the bar at Fest Haus, though technically that is stealing if you aren't garnishing your purchase!

Perhaps CF will lower the food prices! smile.gif

True, it has never said "Paramount's Kings Island" on the front of The Beast trains.

From 1979-92, the Kings Island logo was placed above The Beast logo.

It was removed for the 1993 season, and no new PKI logo was put on it.

In 1999, for the 20th Anniversary, some art was added to the front around the logo...

Then around 2000 or 01, they placed the oval around The Beast logo, with "Kings Island" on the top of the oval. No "P" word - what you see now.

My favorite seat ever is 62 on Train 3. Best ride EVER! The worst, for me is seat 13 on any train!

62 is a fantastic seat on any beast train, you do know that the numbers get changed around each year though dont you? What was train 2 last year is train 3 this year.

And how would having the companies name on it spoil it? Now if it was a pornogrpahic picture on the front, that might spoil it, but the logo does not affect the ride, if your going to comment on EVERY topic thats fine, but atleast make it an intelligent post please that contributes something.

The Beast is as you know opened in 1979 and that was way before Paramount bought the park. The Manufacturer was Kings Island so the trains just had Kings Island on them. I would guess paramount when they bought the park kept the trains that way since it was still called Kings Island (only with the added Paramount), or it was to save money. If Cedar Fair continues to call it Kings Island I have no reason to think they will change the cars.
