in all my times going to the park throughout the years i have never seen The Beast broke down....got there first thing this morning and it was broke down so we went to the

racer and the cars were out of sync (the blue forwards racer was being repaired)

when they finally got it fixed they were still out of sync most of the day.

then later on we got stranded on Adventure Express on the first hill for about

twenty minutes. Nothing major but a rather strange day.

The thing about The Beast is that its a VERY big wood coaster. Its common for it to not open at the same time as other rides. Every morning the entire track is walked looking for problems. This can take hours and can take longer for a large number of reasons. It does not mean the ride is "broke down" it just means that the park wants to be sure it is safe before it opens.

And given what is going on with the other large major wooden coaster in the park, I am sure it is human nature to inspect The Beast with even more care than usual. They always do a great job, but now I am sure they check and re-check and re-check again. I know I would be that way. . .

Not to mention a different company is now in charge and responsible. Some things will be different than before, for lots of reasons.

Well, some days The Racers actually race. Some days they don't. This is not faulty operation or some kind of mechanical failure.

Don't forget it's a capacity issue too. Once train is inherently going to be held up to wait for the other.
