Speaking of KI history, I have a question to ask about The Beast. I know that the skid brakes were replaced by magnetic brakes. Were the skid brakes always there? If not, when were they installed? Thanks, PKIBeast biggrin.gif

To the best of my knowledge the skid brakes were original to The Beast. It was one of the first coasters at PKI to be controlled using computers. When The Racer first opened, it too had skid brakes and was later retrofitted.
