Vortex
Does anyone know if Cedar Fair will change the look of the map and fun guide to Kings Island next year. Also my best friend just got back from Knotts Barry Farm and they are letting you use your PKI season pass to get in. CoastersRZ
Uh, they shouldn`t be letting you use your PKI season pass to get into Knott`s Berry Farm, as the season pass programs for both Cedar Fair and Paramount Parks are remaining as is (ie only valid at the respective chain`s parks) for the remainder of the season. Anything special about the Knott's fun guide?
CoastersNSich
*Bump* The current edition of the PKI fun guide runs through tomorrow, July 31, meaning a new one on Tuesday. Traditionally, season pass sales for next year have begin in early August, but who knows with Cedar Fair now running things.
Reclaimer
They probably already had the Fun Guides designed and possibly even printed. The GP won't be seeing hardly any noticable changes until next year.
PhantomTheater
CF starts season pass talk in Sept or Oct. As for the map, when Geauga Lake was bought they changed the map design. I imagine that CF will make KI map like the other CF parks.

CoastersRZ
Yeah, I`d imagine that management at Cedar Fair is discussing the season pass program currently. Since Paramount Parks traditionally began selling them in August, it is an issue that they have to think about soon. At least to let the customers that typically renew know when they can buy their passes. I have always bought my season pass right around Labor Day weekend. Will I be able to this year? Who knows. Only time will tell when you can buy a season pass for next year.
screamingnight
I hope the change the map because a lot of the coaster are very inaccurate.
The Interpreter
If Cedar Point's map is any indication, that won't be changing. All park maps are "artist depictions." My favorite of all time was the year that the lake at Indiana Beach covered nearly a third of the state in the directions map!

I imagine that CF will make KI map like the other CF parks. Wrong. Season passes go on sale in early September, the talking is already going on if it's not already done (which wouldn't surprise me). For example, I always get my Michigan's Adventure season pass the weekend after Labor Day. The maps and guides won't change until at least 2007, if not later. I seem to remember Knotts not having them separate (combined as one) until three years after they were purchased, and Michigan's Adventure took a year. Vortex
I fixed the link so it the front page of the map should show up now. I would have scanned the whole in side but that was taking up to much room.
