August 6, 200620 yr Thanks!!! Title covers it, towels needed at water parks... YES OR NO???? We leave in 32 hours!!!
August 6, 200620 yr to be honest you really wont need a towel...as hot as it is you'll dry up in like 10-20 minutes
August 6, 200620 yr Just shake yourself off in the changing room. Why do I keep seeing this image of my dog when I was a kid...coming in after being out in the rain?
August 6, 200620 yr I think since you have children it would probably be a good idea for these reason: 1 To save a chairs while your family swims 2 If no chairs are available, then you can sit on your towels in the grass area 3 Spread towels out on chairs to keep the straps on the chairs from digging in on your -- --body and makes it easier for children to nap on if needed 4 Children really like to wrap up in a towel after they been in the water Enjoy your quality time with your family, have fun and let us know how your trip went.
August 6, 200620 yr Author oh we will take them if they aren't provided, we'll be renting a locker and have a stroller w/ large basket under, they can sit in it durring the day...
August 7, 200620 yr I remember until the early to mid-1990s that you could acutally rent towels at Water Works. I've been in this situation sometimes when I wish I could have that option.
June 29, 201511 yr Tis not confirmed or denied my fair lad. There's something in the water.... Jaws? People? Poo? Bacteria? Nope, just BB1 in his tube floating in the River. (In all seriousness, I don't know what is going in, nor if we will have this kind of expansion. I just know he just posted a report about the water)
June 29, 201511 yr Water park expansion confirmed In A Cedar Fair park? Stay tuned. Terp, seldom all wet.
June 29, 201511 yr Yes, atleast one. If ya'l want it, please by all means take it. I would rather Boomerang Bay be bulldozed.
June 29, 201511 yr And why was THIS bumped? Terp...back, dryly. You wouldn't be refering to your sence of humor now, would ya?
June 29, 201511 yr Yes, atleast one. If ya'l want it, please by all means take it. I would rather Boomerang Bay be bulldozed.Well, that escalated quickly. I would much rather a revival of the name than for it to be bulldozed. That's almost like me saying that your favorite attraction should be bulldozed. It makes money, and has a great theme, seems like a good thing to me. Manypatrons partake in the waterpark when they go to a themepark so that way they could cool off, in turn they could have a better day at the park. Without this, they would be very hot at the park which would not let them have fun as much as would with a waterpark. Also, another point: what would you want instead of Boomerang Bay waterpark*? *Being at either Carowinds or CGA BB1, the Boomerang Bay enthusiast
June 29, 201511 yr Also, a counter point: what would you want instead of Boomerang Bay*? *Being at either Carowinds or CGA He'd probably want Thunder Road instead. If I had aquarter for every time Terpy did this, I'd be soaking in dough. If Thrill_Biscuit had those quarters, you'd just be soaking.
June 29, 201511 yr If I had aquarter for every time Terpy did this, I'd be soaking in dough. If Thrill_Biscuit had those quarters, you'd just be soaking. Water you talking about?
June 29, 201511 yr Also, a counter point: what would you want instead of Boomerang Bay*? *Being at either Carowinds or CGA He'd probably want Thunder Road instead.Being as Thunder Road is my third favorite coaster, you are correct. In my dreams, I would replace Carowinds Boomerang Bay with an Intamin launch coaster with a jungle theme. Don't worry BB1, in my dreams I would move Boomerang Bay further from Carowinds and retain the theme. I even like KI's concept of connecting the park's by train so I think I will dream that too for Carowinds. KI has the best setup for water/amusement park combo I have ever seen, the two parks are one price but a good distance from each other. To be fair, a lot people are saying Thunder Road should be bulldozed.
