Plastic? Just get a leaf blower they sound just like chainsaws and if its in the dark you really cant tell if not a chainsaw.

also.. yeah the leafblower is a good idea.. in the past we have had a plastic chainsaw with sound fx and a strobe light.. makes an effect that makes it llok like its moving.. cool stuff.... i will take the leaf blower idea though
