September 19, 200619 yr ^Actaully, the whole spongebob thing is a conspiracy. Quite a few radical "family values" groups have attempted distributing videos to schools about how Spongebob is really subliminal support for homosexuality. However, that is just a conspiracy and has never been admitted, but denunced by the shows creator Stephen Hillenberg, if it were true, Nickelodeon would probably be too afraid to run it. King Bowser, how is holiday horror stepping on someones ideals? Because its christmas and gore mixed? What abou winterfest, an event that was almost entirely based on Christmas, yet I didnt see a Kwanza section or Chaunukah section. Wasn't that kind of stepping on Jewish ideals? Not saying your wrong, but I dont see anything wrong with Holiday Horror, its not like their's going to be ghosts and goblins around a manger scene.

Actually... the title winterfest says nothing about christmas... yes theres santa and a giant christmas tree but hey... the played jewish music throughout the park during winterfest!
September 19, 200619 yr ^lol, i was just making a point that you cant make everyone happy and cater to everyones opinions cause someone will always disagree. Yeah, its not called "christmas" fest, but its pretty obvious that it is. Still a great event none the less, and its in no way offensive to anyones beliefs.
September 19, 200619 yr ^We were discussing holiday horror and differnt views on it. Please leave the moderating to the moderators and read before criticizing... Thanks! -CombatStupendous89

I think early it was said that "Why didnt they call it Christmas horror?"- thats because people who don't celebrate Christmas will be offened.- Pretty sad people have to fight over things like holidays.
September 20, 200619 yr On September 11th 2006 Paramount Kings Island was shooting a segment for a FearFest commercial. I just wanted to share a few photo’s that a few of the members may be interested in seeing. Click on any photo for a larger image. Any members recognize the haunts in this picture? The next couple of pictures are on location of the shoot. Another who’s who picture. And one of the stars of the commercial shoot. He should have been paid hazard pay for being crammed into that ride for as long as he had to be in it and for his size. The neatest thing that I saw that night was a mostly bald green headed haunt that had a large white patch of hair on the top of his head and when we were sent through the lights on attraction it was the oddest thing to see his hair flying in the wind and his head bobbing around. He also turned his head to look back one time and he had one of those creepy monster mouths and it was one of those moments that you say to yourself I’ll never see that again. Hope you all enjoyed the pictures!
September 20, 200619 yr So they're not going to do Waste Land now? It was described as a total wreck from a meteriote shower and I thought that sounded cool
September 20, 200619 yr Thanks for posting those Avatar, those are great That was a fun day, I wish I would've volunteered to dress up.
September 20, 200619 yr Very cool pictures.. I do believe one of our members (maybe more) were in this shoot. I won't say who because I don't know if they want to be announced... So I'll just let them do it. Again, thanks for posting these cool pics! -Hauntguy
September 20, 200619 yr Well, I know that all three of the administrators were at the shoot. I would have liked to have been there, but it was my first day back at my co-op job. Glad to hear it was a fun time (and to see the pictures of those dressed up).
September 22, 200619 yr Hey guys, I just got back from our first meeting/practice for Cowboy Carnage. Let me say this: Alot people are concerned about the size of the attraction... I will only say... Yes, the INDOOR portion of the haunt is shorter due to the size of the building. But that is NOT the only part of the attraction. That's all.... I am really excited about this attraction and Fearfest... It was kind of creepy walking through a lonely and quite KI with only the Fearfest lighting up and on.... It really gets me in the mood. Oh well, See you this October! -Hauntguy PS: KI is also doing this thing were you can have photos taken with some monsters... Some of you might get to take a photo with yours truely! Look out!
September 22, 200619 yr Question: is the new theming resembling more of a saloon as the press release suggests, or is it just the old Massacre Manor theming with with cowboys pasted into the picture? Can't wait for this weekend when I go back to work. I'm in charge of pottys in Coney, so I should be able to take several walks around the 'Maul' and take in the FearFest sights.
September 22, 200619 yr Yes, it is a saloon... it's also an Inn. There is a "saloon" style room, but there are also rooms were people could stay, their is the wine cellar... etc. I don't know if I can give out the EXACT story.. so that's all I will say. -Hauntguy
