Looks like a nice little family friendly park, I'd even say more family friendly than PKI or HW. From what the video showed it reminded me a lot of how Americana used to be, not just before it closed, but before Jerry Couch had the criminal carnival run it. If I had smaller kids I'd rather to take them to a place like this, dont get me wrong NU is a fantastic place for children but when its crowded its a mess and the lines can be excrutiatingly long for a child. This place had a Kite Flyer before KI and has some classic coasters. I'm glad to see this park still being able to do pretty well just as I am to see Coney Island in cicny do well. My niece and nephew came to visit for the weekend back in June and on Saturday I took them to Coney, I hadnt been in awhile. They had more fun there than they did at PKI the next day, they're pretty young though so im sure someday they'll prefer PKI. Thanks for posting the video interpreter, it so nice sometimes to escape the giant theme park corporations for nice small park charm.

Thanks, Interpreter. I was trying to tell people that it's not ghetto. The roulette wheel looking ride (formerly rainbow) looks great with the new paint job. They also repainted the Paratroopers lately. My neighbor works there and he says that Camden painted a lot in the last off-season. Now, they need to keep improving upon the Big Dipper as it is in need of some new paint. I have also wanted to try out that new ferris wheel looking ride where the cars flip. Looks pretty wild! I have gone to Camden since I was in the 5th grade, around the time that Fred and Barney were in school, and I have never seen it look better. One of my favies as a kid was the one car train that you powered yourself.

I actually took a historic steam engine out of Chillicothe Ohio to Camdem Park about 13 years ago. Must say it was quite an oldfashioned experience. Old time train and classic small family park. Felt like I was going back in time.

The Dipper was great and ThunderBolt Express was pretty good too. Shame to see it go by the way side, but glad the Dipper is still running great.

Nice to see a traditional old park hanging on, kinda rare anymore.

I'd say its more of an old fashion park then a ghetto one. Sort of like Coney Island, exept with a different selection of rides...

It could also use seat belts, especially in the back row. That severe ejector air back there was too close for comfort!

Huh? The back row of the Big Dipper has no seat. Hasn't for years now. And for the Spooktacular, three green witches normally rode that seat. In years past, they rode the Skyliner, but it was missing in action all this season.
