Guest faceoff
I just checked the updated weather for the weekend from the weather channel. They are saying a 80% chance of rain for friday and showers and windy conditions for saturday. Sunday is to be nice with a-lot of sun and a high in the upper 50's. With wet weather for friday and saturday-does anyone think the park will even open friday night or saturday and if they do,will they close early. I have a feeling i will be watching tv or going to the movies and waiting for sunday to process my season pass. I am glad my hotel will be nice, i may be seeing a-lot of it. CoastersRZ
Friday is quesitionable. I hope the weather forecasters change their forecast and that the rain ends early Friday evening. Saturday morning they are just calling for a few left over showers, so most of Saturday should be fine. Sunday`s high, as of right now, is not supposed to be in the high fifties, but instead top out right around 50. The only night they might close early (if they even open at all) is Friday night, due to the rain. The park was open all day on Sunday (the normally scheduled hours), even though employees outnumbered guests in the park for a good portion of the day. They never closed early. Cooler weather means, hopefully, lighter crowds. I know in the past, closing weekends have been rather busy. But that is often a result of them giving out tons of free tickets for that weekend. To my knowledge, they haven`t given out free tickets for this coming weekend.
The Interpreter
Normally, by now, I have heard of thousands and thousands of free radio station "winner" tickets being issued for the Paramount Parks in North/South Carolina and Ohio. I haven't this year. I don't think it's happened.
Jasper
I went to WCPO and it said that Saturday it is calling for partly sunny with a chance of showers and the high is supposed to be around 50 or 51 degrees. Hopefully the cold will keep everbody away and it wont be that crowded.
PKIVortex
-From weather.com Friday - High of 52 Low of 42 with an 80% chance of rain. Saturday - High of 53 Low of 37, with wind and a 30 % chance of rain. Sunday - High of 57 Low of 42, Sunny with a 10 % chance of rain. Looks like Sunday is going to turn out to be pretty good closing day weather wise for KI.
CoastersRZ
That may be what weather.com says, but the local news stations. As Jasper081691 said, WCPO is calling for 51 on Sunday. It will likely be a little more crowded than when I visited on this past Sunday and was able to ride Flight of Fear 15 times, but I don`t think it will be insanely packed. But until Sunday arrives and the park is open, no one will for sure know how crowded it will be.
