CoastersRZ
The Beach Water park in Mason, is fresh off the heels of their best Holiday event in 2005. They expect the crowds to return this year. And they attribute a lot of their attendance gain to WinterFest at Kings Island. Read the article in today`s Cincinnati Enquirer, here. The Beach spokesperson also hit the nail on the head why WinterFest`s attendance didn`t live up to expectations.
RailRider
Makes perfect sense for the Beach. With the public looking for something else since there is no WinterFest and also the opening of Great Wolf, I would definately expect the attendance to go up. I would also suspect that Cedar Fair will look at WinterFest over the next seasson and see if it will be possible for them to bring the event back at a lower price point and still make it profitable for the park. Did anyone see how expensive the product budget was for Santas Toy Factory? No wonder addmission was so expensive last year to WinterFest. But it was a great show, top notch. Toy Factory was in the $500,000 range.... not TOO too bad consider how wonderful the show was.
The Interpreter
It truly was a great show. Almost on par with Dollywood's Christmas entertainment. Not quite, but almost. Speaking of which, if you get a chance to see Babes in Toyland, don't miss it!
WooferBearATL
I wonder how much the budget was for the old Home for the Holiday's show.

Scooby Bucks did not come onto the scene until the 1980's!
