That's a pretty cool site...I really enjoyed the timelines for other parks that I'm not as familiar with as KI. A few things that I didn't know/realize:

â€â€KI's name was a combination of King's Mills and Coney Island. (Although, that factoid was probably in Chef's book and I just forgot about it...)

â€â€Absolutely nothing new was added to KI in 1978 (from what I can tell, that's the only time that occurred...although The Beast came the next year, so I guess that made up for it!)

â€â€KD was 1/3 smaller than KI when it opened

â€â€Gary Story (ex-COO of Six Flags) is Australian

That is really cool stuff. That would be cool to see the Eiffel Tower being built. Are there pics of it anywhere?

That makes me smile at the nostalgia. Weird...feeling nostalgia for a place and time I wasn't even born in. Man, do I have an imagination. (Then again, you didn't need to tell me that one.)
