flightoffear1996
Here is the thing about Wicked Twister which makes me beleive that there is no need for the over the shoulder restraint. Where is why. All object fall at the same rate due to gravity depending on wind restains and what not. So based on this there would only need to be a lapbar to keep you secure on the twist. So even is there was a restraint failure it would be freaky but I don't think it would cause you to fly out of the ride as long as you can remain seated while the train is twisting. The Interpreter
You assume, incorrectly, that there are not guests who TRY to get out. Unfortunately, there are. See, for instance, Shockwave at Kings Dominion, a number of years back, where a kid old enough (but apparently not sober enough) to know better purposely exited the ride while it was in motion. flightoffear1996
Well I was saying phycis wise you would probably be safe with a lapbar.

flightoffear1996
I dont even think she can see past the restraints.

flightoffear1996
Way to go PKD! I think the height requirment is 54" on Togo stand ups but I could be wrong. That person isn't 54" tall for sure.
CoastersRZ
The height requirement on Kings Cobra was that the riders feet had to touch the floor with them properly "seated" on the bicycle seat. There was no set height requirement, as everyones body proportions are different.
Ensign Smith
A couple posters have mentioned the fact that, as the cars leave the station and again during the return, riders' heads are below their bodies. This is my main problem with X-Flight. I have GERD (gastro-esophageal reflux disease), and whenever my head is oriented in that position for too long, my stomach acid washes up into my throat, even making me throw up if it continues for too long. It's not generally a problem, but if the trains get stacked up too long going into the station (or heaven forbid, a breakdown in the 'down' position), then I'm in trouble. That's why I don't ride Time Warp at Geauga Lake; they hold you upside down for 20 - 30 seconds at a time. Not good.
TopThrill
I've nervier been on a Vekoma flying dutchman coaster, but I have been on a Bolliger & Mabillard flying coaster. B&M's Superman Utimate Flight at Six Flags Great America is a true flying coaster. The way you board and load, the trains are in the flying position from the every start to finish. Vekoma is way different from B&M. But I will check out Firehawk when its open.
Kennywooddude
The Loop on X-Flight beats any other inversion on any current B&M Flyer.
The Interpreter
The Loop on X-Flight beats any other inversion on any current B&M Flyer. Amen, brother! I, for one, prefer the Vekoma Flyers to the B and M Flyers...except Tatsu, of course. That thing is in a class all by itself!
flightoffear1996
Well Tatsu is also not cloned 20 times.
The Interpreter
Like ANYONE but an enthusiast cares. A great coaster 100 miles from home is much better than a great coaster 2500 miles from home. If Cedar Fair announced tomorrow that Kings Island was getting an exact copy of Tatsu, I'd be ecstatic with joy.

Cory Butcher
I dunno I can! I agree with Interpreter, I consider myself an enthusiast, and I love riding Hall of Fame coasters just as much as anyone, however I simply love well designed coasters, and whether they are clones or not, they just need to be fun! I would personally love to have an exact replica of Kumba or Montu here at KI!
