Why is Carowinds the only park with the Nick parade this year. I remeber a statement that the Nick Parade was not going to happen this year but Carowinds website is saying they are.

I guess they figure they will let it go on at another park. Who knows maybe they will move to a different park next year. I really commend them for giving it another shot, even though it won't be at KI this summer.

The parade won't be here this year? Why not? I liked it last year. It's a nice attraction for the families to enjoy together. Most of the parks I have visited have a parade many times throughout the day.

A lot more work goes on than just transporting a few floats. Its a very time consuming effort.

And I guess this means that maintenance doesnt have to listen to the "kickin it all over town" in the morning. That was a nice wake up call at 7:30am

If nothing else that song had to get you into a semi-good mood. I remember when I worked back in the games in Coney we always loved that time period where we would shut down the games and just do the parade dance.

Not sure where you heard that, but it's only going to be at Carowinds, unless something has changed, KI hasn't updated us on any changes.

The Parade was okay, I just thought the music was WAY TO LOUD!

As PKIVortex said, the Nick Parade will be exclusive to Carowinds this year. And as you said, it will start earlier and end later, since it does not have to leave to head to any other park like it has in the past several years.

As of early February, it was exclusive to Carowinds per Maureen. However hopefully things have changed and you are right.

I hope is does come back. This was one of the most interesting finds I made yet another discovery today it looks like Spongebob 3D is gone off the rides list........hummmmm. I hated that ride.

It might be a good idea to take a year off from the Nick Parade. I am sure the park will be happy that area of the park will not be effect the line for Firehark and Flight of Fear. I got stuck in that area till the floats came back in at the start of the path way next to The Racers.
