I've gone to Kings Island many times across 34 years of its life, and I've always noticed promotional theming of one kind or another when a new attraction is added. It's easy to imagine that there might be some kind of sign or fanfare to herald the park's newest coaster. We'll have to see.

You will not see Kings Island make light of the situation SOB finds itself in. Not to mention it would be in very poor taste, given that people were hurt on that ride, two of them apparently rather seriously.

Well, maybe they will run the little promo on their site. I personally do NOT like the fact that they basically took a Stealth/BORG model and fixed it up. They should have the correct coaster

I think someone say KI did not have time to make a promo to run on the site so yes they took the Stealth video. I am sure when the ride is going to open you will see a lot of stuff in the park about Firehawk.

While SOB just might reopen one day with anyone from the public knowing it has.

I think they should release an aerie of hawks, in the manner that the IOC organizers release doves for the Olympics. Oh, sure, hawks are birds of prey, and may not behave in the same way as doves, but it would be original. Since the ride is called "Firehawk", it makes sense, of course, to set the birds' tails[EDIT!]

I am going to Kings Island on opening weekend, and I have never went before it opens daily. I also wonder what kind of advertising they will put up, and I am very interested in seeing the theming for the new coaster.
