I think when they are refering to the speed they are talking about what they have seen on the live "video" webcam at www.funcoast.com/funcam. On this camera it is possible to see the speed of the train, because it is taking constant pictures instead of just updating every 60 seconds.

They are still pretty nerdy for commenting on a coaster run in a webcam...if they really want to be cool they should go all John Madden and circle some stuff Telestrator anyone? lol, now that would make their comments more, well, no actually still pretty lame!

I'm always for seeing new info and photos on new coasters, but running commentary is pretty freakin' lame. Can't wait to ride Maverick though, looks sweet.

You know, I have to agree with you on that one. It's a coaster site, not an Apple fansite. Aqua doesn't need to be everywhere anyway.

Hey, hey! I thought the commentary was pretty cool, if I must say so myself. And yes, we were watching the FunCam at the same time, so we used that to determine the speed, not the Maverick PondCam.
