matt-and-jackie Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 Does anyone know where I can see more pics of the newly unimproved SOB? Just kidding, if people got hurt it needed to be fixed, but why loose the loop?? :( I mean come on the ONLY lopping coaster in the world, now is just another woody.
DeMoN Posted June 1, 2007 Posted June 1, 2007 I don't know where you can get updated photos. I have heard however that there was good reasoning for the loop being taken out. I am unsure if this is correct, but I have heard that the loop was dropped so they could use a different style of train that was lighter. Doing this would reduse the stress put on the track by the old trains (possibly causing the fracture that lead to injuries) and also reducing the uncomfortable rides many were experiencing. Again I could be wrong but that is what I heard.
