FOFirehawkFAN
So I decided to go to KI for a few hours tonight just to get some rides in and maybe catch the fireworks show for the first time this summer. First thing that upset me off The Bat is that TRTR was closed and they didn't tell anyone they kept letting them get in line so after waiting for 30 min and not moving we finally left the line. And we got stuck on IJST at the Helicopter section for about 20 min for who knows why. Also if anyone is curious the wait for Firehawk was only at around 1 hour at around 8PM. One thing tonight that impressed me A LOT was the friendliness of all the ride operators there, interacting with the guests. The restraint checker on Delerium gave everyone a double high five after she checked their harness and I though that was neat. This was also my first time riding The Beast at night which I have to say was AWESOME everyone needs to do it! Other than that was a pretty typical visit. I was really impressed with the maitenance and relability of the rides the first couple weekends the park was open but it seems now that it's getting worse. Yes it was..I was talking to one of the managers there or I don't know who he was he said they had planned to open 2 trains Friday but they just thought that Firehawk wasn't ready though..Should be opening 2 trains here soon. I received several high fives last night as well as the guy on the PA at The Beast at night was singing, "If you're gonna ride The Beast and you know it, clap your hands. If you're gonna ride The Beast and you know it, clap your hands. If you're gonna ride The Beast, 'cause The Beast is freakin sweet... If you're gonna ride The Beast, yell real loud." It was pretty awesome.
PKIVortex
The Beast crew has doing the little song and screaming thing now for the last couple of years. It just makes the ride that much better. When I worked at Vortex and after we cycled off and powered off at the end of the night, you can hear them all the way over at The Beast from Vortex. CrazyKay07
I've never had anyone sing to me while on The Beast, and I always ride it. This makes me excited though because I love corny things like that. And I love The Beast at night!
PKIVortex
It's not like they are singing to anyone person. They do it over the PA in the station.
welchce
And if you ever want to get people pumped up (like in The Beast Station at night), start a slow clap.
PKIVortex
The Beast crew has always had a great time running there ride. They are probably one of the best crews in the park.
FOFirehawkFAN
And I seem to recall someone saying that the Six Flags staff was being much more friendly than CF staff this summer, guess Kings Island doesn't apply, although I love the ride operators at Cedar Point too. Or i guess whoever made that comment didnt know what they were talking about.
