coastergirl Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 I know that some of you have been to Carowinds, so I was wondering if any of you know of a nice but decent priced hotels near the park. I don't mind driving a few miles to the park, but since we have only been there 1 time I do not know the area very well. Any pointers will be appreciated. Thanks! The Interpreter Posted June 4, 2007 Share Posted June 4, 2007 Be very careful where you stay. There are some nice and not so nice places around that area. I would NOT stay at the Nations Ford Road exit. I stay on Billy Graham Parkway, over by the airport. There are several nice places over there. Beware, though, the parkway is a speedtrap, and has sometimes had photo-radar. There are also nice places in the Colliseum area...even though the place itself was imploded today, at the ripe old age of 18! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
