But the first part of the video is just Maverick... IMHO I love Dragster and Maverick... I don't play favorites, unless the coaster is really bad. Quote
UncleHenry Posted June 15, 2007 Author Posted June 15, 2007 TTD is a one trick pony. Maverick is just an amazing ride, my favorite now. Yep, it beat out Voyage. The ride never let up (except for right before the launch), and you had no idea where you were going next. Even with seeing the animations before hand, I was surprised by some of the elements. Loved every minute of this ride. Quote
raptor Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 TTD is an incredible ride, but it will never rank as one of my favorites it is just too quick, 20 seconds and it's over, I expect to like maverick better when I ride it Sunday, purely because it's longer. The thing for me about the dragster is, it goes so fast (and it has to to make it up I know) but it goes so fast you can't appreciate just how high you are, that's why millenium is still king for me, nothing like going up that hill looking around and taking it all in while waiting for the plunge. welchce Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Great video. I loved the beginning when you were driving past KI; I thought it was hilarious. The part I loved about what I saw from Maverick is how the fountains follow you around the lake like someone trying to shoot you (very nice move by CF to add that extra touch to an already thrilling ride). RWildman424 Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 I just got back from Cedar Point 5 minutes ago..I live 5 hours away...and Maverick is better than TTD in every way in my mind.It may have a faster launch, but Maverick's is better. If you've ridden it you know where I'm coming from. Amazing ride #1 now on my list. Quote

Made the drive for Maverick got some good rides in the only bad part was getting stuck on TTD and waiting inlaunch posittion for twenty minutes Maverick was awesome lots of G's it was intwnse i love bothe Top THrill and Maverick.
