I kind of hope they expand x-base. There's room back there, and I'm pretty sure it's the only opening to the other 400 acres of the park at the moment (directly from a path anyways). But knowing Cedar Fair, the won't be able to theme it like something that looks like it would be called x-base... vl2 looks into the future and sees "Z: THE RIDE" EDIT: Did I really just write that?

I can't think of ANYTHING to say to that... except for I for one am so excited that they came out with new technology that can takedown and build a roller coaster in less than a month!!!!!!! I'd like to see how this topic rolls out =]... edit: ground doesn't sink... get your words right zi422...

Actually I pride myself in being a responsible parent, something that I got from my parents. hmmmmmmm i was making generalizations... again... but do you WANT to be responsible????????? that would provoke the kids to climb them.

yeah, there are a few things that security over looks sometimes... but thats at every park, not just Cedar Fair. There are a lot of policies that I generally think are total BS, and obviously the security does sometimes too because they don't enforce them all the time.

why would they have to figure out what state he was in? Isn't it illegal to reveal frontal private parts in public throughout the entire country? very stupid on everybody's part, in my opinion.

It's just that whole responsibility thing. Nobody wants to be responsible. Ever. on another note, I voted 13 because as long as you're a teenager and have some form of communication with parents I say they should be allowed.

I find this whole situation just one more stupid thing that's going to end up with a new label on something, or something getting banned. What happened to taking responsibility for our actions?? Why are we teaching everyone- "oh, you ran into a pole on your bike? You broke your arm?? Let's sue the pole company!" but then again,. it really is useful to have "take baby out before closing" written on strollers... but there is one little thing about this-- what about 30 year old midgets? (ahem short old people- I wouldn't want to use my freedom of speech and be politically incorrect ). Are they allowed in the pool without a life jacket? Surely they'd know how to swim. vl2

Cedar Fair... paramount... none of it really matters that much to me. Unless something really drastic happens, I'm gonna have to say I really don't care.

how do you know what classic terpy-ism is? you haven't been a member long enough to know the real classic terpy things... or whatever... actually I'm pretty sure I've been here longer than terpy and I still don't know what his "classics" are... anyways, whatever about the whole "to short thing" I was thinking of a different type of coaster. And really, looking at averages of how long the dive machines are... that's WAYYYY to long... vl2 edit- that first part was talking about 2 posts above me...

Mrs. Pat Koch made that announcement when Legend was being teased. She said that Daughter of Beast would be opening at Koch's Holiday World soon... Funny how long word lasts... Strangely, the next year, Son of Beast hot sauce was sold at Paramount's Kings Island...among the things on the label was a statement about SOB being a legend coaster! Actually, I heard about it before that, but okay...

1: Got to park and raced for Maverick. Almost ot stopped on midway for running. Maverick: 8/10, 1 hour wait. 2: Decided to take it down a notch with wave swinger. Wave Swinger: 2/10. No wait. 3: Gemini... blue train: 6/10. 20 minute wait. 4: Lunch... Chick FillA is gooood... 5: Top Thrill Dragster!!!! Best ride ever!!! TTD: 11/10. 45 minute wait 6: Magnum! Great fun! Magnum: 10/10. 10 minute wait. 7: Corkscrew: 4/10. Not that great, but well worth the 1 and 1/2 minute wait. 8: Power Tower RED LAUNCH: 5/10. 3 minute wait... YES! 9: RAPTOR!: 10/10! So awesome for a 15 minute wait... Yes, only 15 minutes. 10: Blue Streak: 5/10. Not that good, but better than corkscrew for a 1 and 1/2 minute wait. 11: Mantis: 9/10. 10 minute wait. To much leg pressure. 12: Iron Draggon: 4/10.
