  1. The exit to Orion's helix, or more specifically the lateral airtime where the track straightens. I was going to echo the statement regarding the series of banked hills pre-turn around tunnel on MT, but after watching the video I just couldnt see calling it "one element". Regardless, that pre-turn around segment on MT is the best 1 segment of coaster track in the park.
  2. IF I were to ever buy a other pass, it would be an HW/SS pass for this very reason even as I wish Pat were still there, they do it better and always have. If HW were to ever add a version of FastLane, even if only valid for the 4 coasters, Id buy in a Heartbeat.
  3. And this is exactly why I am going to return to my previous days of "Goal 0 per-cap dollars spent while in the park" when I am there this weekend. Im going to be happy if/when my pass scans at parking tolls and turnstiles, I can get my FL wristband smoothly, and my drink plan scans smoothly, hell I am not even taking a chance of getting an ICEE or hot chocolate with mine even though I do have the upgrade. It is genuinely sad when those thoughts of "Is this interaction going to end well or not?" have to even be in one's head every single time you pull your pass out to use it when attempting to spend time at a place designed to be relaxing and fun.
  4. I absolutely agree, and it is that modus operandi and continuing the status quo with the “We have what you want, so we really DO NOT care about you” way of operations making me wish more would stick to it. Here’s the thing, even if I wasn’t a fossil in the game and hadn”t already decided to give the passes and the trips and the parks up, I can with 100% confidence say I wouldn’t/won’t return other than the one possible future visit I mentioned if that comes to fruition. I know many/most companies operate in at least somewhat similar fashion, but at least in this case I have a choice…. Like Terpy used to say “They already have your money”, in this case they no longer have mine. In regards to a comment made previously in the thread, Cedar Point is the biggest “dumpy” thing in the entire town of Sandusky in my eyes.
  5. @Tr0y KI has been the good Ohio park since 2020/21 whenever Mr. McClure was promoted and this new GM got ahold of the park. I was so ****ed at them this June, even as much as I Love SV and Mav, there is only one single thing that will get me back in that park, and someone very very close and special to me knows that one thing. Otherwise, even if I werent giving parks and riding up and walking away after next Sunday Id never go back on that peninsula.
  6. Im not saying its not a cool piece, but let us put this in perspective. Vortex was mentioned above, and pieces of it.... a coaster that A LOT of people Loved and/or had fond memories of.... were $198.70 and came with a COA and limited edition postcards. One more example is Mean Streak/SV. I paid $50 for a ticket to the LBJ Foundation event for SVs pre-opening and along with that came as many rides as I could fit in the time frame of the event and Maverick rides as a bonus AND a limited edition piece of MS's wood track bed with a Steel Vengeance laser cut plaque mounted to it and red bandana. Now, had Mav ever actually RUN during normal park operations with the heartline roll installed then Hell YEAH it would be worth $300, Id actually pay a lot more for it if that were the case.
  7. I think its the fact that people are starting to see, and get very tired of, CF/CP in particular becoming Disney Jr with their (IMHO) utterly ridiculous $300 money grab. A hundo, OK..... even $150 MAAAAYYYYYYYYBE $200 and thats a big stretch, but not $300.
  8. And please, if there is anything left sacred in this World, NOTHING with "Hawk" in the name like they were so fond of in the past!
  9. And design it in-house, since it worked so well last time!
  10. I am absolutely with 99% of everything posted above, with the 1% I dissent on being the "Why do it again in any way?" question. If by some Universe altering miracle the folks in Sandusky and Charlotte will pat their eyes dry and lay off on their "take my ball and go home" philosophy regarding RMC (which could be the single thing worth a D amn in the whole FUN/SIX merger) then I wouldn't even be mad at them building an SV annihilating RMC in those woods and valley and using any kind of SOB name or reference they want!
  11. Oh yes, I could just see me in there with a Winterfest Wand going after the roamers like some sort of Sorcerer, "BE GONE EVIL ROAMING CLOWN, AND ALLOWEST ME TO ENJOY MY GLORIOUS FOGGY NIGHT RIDES IN PEACE!" On that note, does anyone have a Winterfest Wand for sale?
  12. I miss it when it was operated VERY well at SF: WoA, that ride NEVER stacked at that park. I enjoyed it, but wouldnt wait for it at KI unless i was with someone who hadnt ridden it yet. Rhat and I couldnt stand looking at it in the queue and seeing the electric green paint showing through under the faded and neglected Firehawk paint job.
  13. I was finally able to ride SSBR this past Saturday, and it is hilariously fun in both Snoopy car and Charlie Brown car. So much so that, being an overgrown child myself at times, I rode it 5 times in the 7 hours I was in the park, lol.
  14. 100% on my end yesterday.... Building with a metal roof, as well as standing inside an aluminum and glass paint booth/mixing room.
