  1. ^Adding on to that, remember what KI got last year? It wasn't a kids coaster/a smaller coaster, but it was 2 flat rides in the kids section. Yes, one of them is (probably) ridden by the older generation more, but it is still a kids ride. Honestly, after the (hopefully) giga, I would love to see KI get a small spinning coaster or even a small, unique wild mouse. Even though it would probably be a few years later, I think the adults and older teenagers would be appeased for a few years with the giga and maybe 1 or 2 thrilling flat rides. 3. ^Agreed Perhaps KI might get their first B&M with the top of the track a different color from the bottom one, such as on Fury and Mantis Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. ^ Even if it isn't for KI (which it most likely isn't) lime green track would be awesome!!! I feel like somebody is going to bring up the green Intamin track because of this... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Not to get more off topic, but while I was at Cedar Point 3 years ago, there was a downpour, closing TTD while my friend and I were next for the front row. Naturally we waited as everything was closed. When it finally began operating, there were 3 rollbacks (the first didn't even make it halfway up the hill). On the fourth launch, the train actually stalled at the top of the hill. Everyone in the station was going crazy, but only after about 10ish seconds, a 40 mph wind blew it over the top. Sorry to go on a tangent, but it was so incredibly cool! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. That was just hypothetical, if they wanted to try something new. I don't think they would, since traditional chain lifts work well for them
  8. I agree Beast Gal. However, I do not think that a +400' coaster is likely. Even so, +375' would probably have similar problems. Too long to reach the top, though, may be a different story. It would take a while, yes, but it would probably still be quicker than other coasters. Perhaps B&M might try their own hand at the Intamin cable lift. In other news, where did Maverick valley at?
  9. Since summer is about to start, the amount of teasers will probably start to speed up. Anyone know what teasers were up for Banshee around this time? (I know the past doesn't define the future, but it does help predicting) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I agree, and I also agree Intamin track is slimmer (or at least appears that way) than B&M, but if a coaster is at great heights, it doesn't need much space cleared.
  11. ^ Or they just have a preference. Other people can like certain things more than others. Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean that others must adhere to it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. If its in a parking lot I would think. Does it mention how long to clear a forest? "Survey: A week or two of surveying the lay of the land and plotting out where the foundations will go.Foundations: two to four months of digging and pouring the foundations, after which they must set to cure for a period of time." source: Coasters 101: An Engineer's Guide to Roller Coaster Design http://rec.roller-coaster.narkive.com/A1V6hkCu/why-do-you-call-it-plug-n-play-woodieboom What's your point? 15. I agree to an extent. It would be a bad idea, but there could be a couple ways that disaster could be averted. For example, if multiple flats were installed, it wouldn't be that big of a problem. However, many people would be upset if no coaster came. (Many people will be upset no matter what though)
  16. They do order parts from them, but I believe that is the extent of their relationship as of today. This doesn't mean that they are on good terms though. Parts are needed for former coasters and does not mean that they will buy new coasters from them in the future. On a side note, they need all the parts because their coasters are always breaking down!
  17. I'd rather have a different type of ride from a different German manufacturer... One that launches... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. That doesn't mean the giga KI could potentially be the exact same. I've heard Leviathon and Fury are two completely different experiences, even though they are both B&M. On a side note, I've never been on a dive coaster, but from what I've heard, they are all very similar experiences, even though they have different t layouts.
  22. ^Yes, but how much time was between Fury 325 and I305 (3 years?). I agree they would do that, but only if the parks were further apart. Giga or wing coaster seem like the best choices as the last wing for a Cedar Fair park was GK, and the last giga was Fury. Since Fury, however, is a much farther distance from KI, a giga, albeit only 2 years since the last one, would be likely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I don't think Cedar Fair would do that with Valravn just opening. I feel like they'd rather have their newest, biggest dive coaster to draw people in CP instead of building a newer one just to the south of it.
  24. Guys, I don't know why I didn't think of this, but I created a B&M Cowboy coaster on RCT3 over a month ago! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=19__MohAU9s Please ignore the horribleness due to the fact the it is RCT3. Would you be happy if B&M did this Beast Gal? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Although they may have gotten credit, I don't believe that anyone actually confirmed this (I could be wrong). Anyway, the credit wouldn't be nearly enough for a large coaster, especially a giga or "cowboy coaster." That being said, Cedar Fair chooses quality, safety, and reliability. Intamin (Cowboy coaster maker) is known for struggles with the last two. B&M, however, is known for the last two. There are other companies much like Intamin, such as Mack, that could also make a "Cowboyish" coaster. I'd believe Cedar Fair would much rather choose them. (Look up the POV of Helix online to see their work).
