  1. Honestly, I really hope this coaster is comparable to the Voyage or even the Legend. Both are experiences that KI lacks and it would be great if they had that. Both give an "out of control" feeling, but in different ways. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. If KI really is getting a wooden coaster, who's getting the green B&M track?!? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Looking at the blueprints, is anyone else reminded of Lightning Rods final turnaround into the brake run with (what I believe is) the final turnaround into the brake run or is that just me? Edit: To the above post, I can think of an out and back wooden roller coaster that is incredible (better than The Beast in my opinion) and really takes you for a voyage... 5. Honestly, I'm kinda surprised about this with how recently SOB was taken down. I could see the GP react in many different ways. Could we see a return of the "Tallest and Fastest wooden coaster in the world"? Probably not, but I can still hope... Also, the name "Splintercat" is beginning to come back into my head... 6. Agreed. Plus, we do not know if this is GCI or perhaps RMC. Also, we say this is "Tame" but we do not know any quirks about it. Maybe it's launched or has inversions. Still, I'm slightly disappointed if it is, in fact, a wooden. I'm still gonna ride and reride it though!!! I just think a different Ohio park should have gotten it... Plus, can anyone confirm if this is true or not? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Something I think many people overlook (not trying to call you out Banshcheese, just brought on by your comment) is that we already have a dark ride, albeit small, slightly broken, and boring. I know Kings Dominion has a similar ride and are expected to get a Dark Tide this year, but that begs the question, would Cedar Fair install 2 dark rides in the same year. Also, who would be getting the "major attraction/Roller coaster" for this year? I feel like all this complied brings a sort of certainty that Kings Island will be getting that, but many questions still remain unanswered, such as will it be a coaster or a thrill ride? And if it is a coaster, what type? We'll all find out soon enough (hopefully)! Sorry for this long tangent. Back to your regularly scheduled programming folks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Actually, here's my quote so y'all don't have to go looking for it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. ^See a comment I made a few pages ago Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. ^Yeah, Intamin took the "B&M approach and did box track for a time. See also the defunct Flashback Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I don't get how people will be unhappy by a new ride addition. I get that people may be disappointed, like I would be if we don't get a B&M giga, but I won't be unhappy if we get something else. Bring on the GCI, RMC, Mack, and (least likely but very fun) Intamin! If you don't like the ride, you still have everything else in the park that they had the season before (except in the case where a ride is taken out and replaced by a worse ride *Cough*Backlot Stunt Track* Cough*). Just be happy that we are getting something new, while other parks have been dying to get anything (See Michigan's Adventure) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Right now, I don't know if I should love Don, hate Don, or both [emoji23] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. ^^^Nobody is stopping you are they? (Sorry LovinMeSomeBanshee). However, one big difference is that you'd be one of the only ones, if not the only one to do so. It would mean nearly nothing. It is when multiple people do so because of the sheer craziness of the post. Saying something is fake is a ridiculous statement considering multiple people have actually been there, not to mention that it is real (for all y'all that didn't know that). Not trying to be rude, but you took a couple things the wrong way, thinking they were said for a different reason. I agree LovinMeSomeBanshee's post may have been out of line, but at least they didn't say Mille and GK were fake! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. It's not that, it's that that person called Holiday World a "fake park." They went so far as to bash other things to try to further their point/start an argument. Liking one thing over another doesn't make someone a troll, but bashing other things to start an argument does Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Don't get me wrong I like Gatekeeper and Mille, but they are some of the worst, if not the worst, of their coaster types. They are nice rides but I'd much rather ride a different giga/wing coaster than those two. However, I'd still choose those anyway over other coasters, such as Gemini or Wicked Twister Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. ^My whole trip up there this year was a lie! My number 1 wooden coaster... Nothing. My favorite wing coaster that blew away the keeper of the gate up north was actually a figment of my imagination! Honestly though, Holiday world is great! The atmosphere is so laid back, which, imo, is nicer than KI and CP. The closest thing to a fake park to me is Coney Island, but it is even real! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. ^^When somebody has never been there or has so much resentment for an unknown reason... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. ^^CP fanboy or just someone trying to start an argument? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. ^They do? I know "Giga Coaster" is trademarked, but not "Hyper Coaster." Ironic if it is because people call them "Intamin Mega (or Mega-lite) Coasters" and "B&M Hyper Coasters" Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Honestly, that makes me think of Fury's bridge dive than anything else... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Though I would love that, there is another coaster in a back lot that is aimed at the same age group. Also, if the tag for an inverted coaster is supposedly "IC" why isn't a wing coaster "WC"? I'm not saying it's not true, just wondering why it is that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. ^But not coasters necessarily. Remember Gatekeeper? We got Banshee the following year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. What other parks get and how other companies are doing has no indication of if one park will get a coaster or not. Roller coasters take years to get everything ready, designed, and quadruple checked to make sure everything is ready when ground breaks. Intamin currently has more roller coasters being built right now than B&M. As for GCI, thy are still a possibility and I am not counting them out. I just think it is a little premature to count B&M out just because they have other projects in the making. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. ^Honestly, I think a wing rider will go in X-Base (Original thought, I know) or Action Zone. Action Zone would be a good fit because it fits the theme of "Floorless Rides" (Except Congo Falls of course, which I think will either be moved to a different section of the park/relocated to another park, not in the near future though. If say at least 5 years, most likely more though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
