Anyone know how crowds are today? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd say either Maneater or Cars is the most popular for me. Total Eclipse of the Heart seems to be the rarest for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree 2020/2021 will most likely be when we'll finally see our wanted giga, but even if it came in 2019 I wouldn't be surprised. Kings Island brings in more money than all other Cedar Fair parks except CP and Knotts if I'm not mistaken. That being said, this year seems different. Having been to Cedar Point and Carowinds 3 days each, the crowds at KI are much bigger than these two parks, at least this year. Going to CP from Monday to Wednesday I expected small crowds, but Millennium force and Maverick having 10 minute waits? Every weekday I've gone to KI, MT, Diamondback, and Beast all have anywhere from 15 minute to over an hour wait. Carowinds doesn't even compare, even on Thursday - Saturday. Just to give perspective, nothing was more than a station wait and I rode Fury 8 straight times without getting off the train (which is quite the experience if you ever have the chance to marathon it). It would make sense for KI to get a giga to bring in even more money. On the contrary, Carowinds, CP, KD, and Canada's wonderland NEED their gigas to bring in their crowds (though CP could definitely do fine without Mille). KI doesn't need a giga. It is much more of a family oriented park while also offering some thrills. It makes perfect sense why they added MT this year, as they were moving more towards high thrill park with DB and Banshee and MT brings it back to more "family oriented." Don't get me wrong I love MT! It's my favorite in the park and a top 5 coaster for me of the ones I've been on. For GP though, it's a family coaster to take the kids on and laugh and have fun together. This isn't as possible with a giga, especially with kids who don't like tall coasters. What I'm trying to say with this post is that KI gets a giga when they and Cedar Fair want it and think it's the right time. Would it be a good addition? Absolutely! Is it necessary? No. KI is already a phenomenal park and will continue to be whether or not it ever gets a giga Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^its actually the transfer track to storage, but a train can stop there if necessary. It's such an ingeniously simple idea imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I was there, Fury had a much higher capacity for 2 main reasons: no bins and the crew. Bins added way more time than necessary on intimidator with dispatches taking way longer than necessary. Plus the crew just talked the whole time and barely did their job (they didn't even check my restraint sometimes)! Fury on the other hand was amazing! They were so nice and fun and flew through everything! Plus I love that a train can pull out of the station and stop before the lift hill to allow the train in front to finish the course and the train behind to be loaded! This was probably the quickest and best crew I've ever seen! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Idk about behemoth but as for Intimidator, it is just not that good. Diamondback is so much better with much better and stronger airtime. I feel like many people don't say much about intimidator because it's honestly an average ride. On a side note, having just ridden fury last week, I would love if KI got a coaster like it. It's fun, fast, intense, and has awesome ejector airtime! It would honestly be the perfect fit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^There was a little girl sitting behind me on fury tonight who had her and her dads restraints released because they were scared. However, they actually stayed on. At CP, it seems whenever someone says they're getting off, they get off and don't get back on lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I think it might be a row thing on wicked twister. I rode it probably 6 times while I was up there. I got in every row perfectly fine (front, back and some middle rows) except the second last row. I ended up fitting but it was just frustrating. Everything else was perfectly fine except that one row. It was so weird (and I know it wasn't bloating or anything because I rode in the last row right before getting back in line). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
It's about 7,800 feet long, 368 feet tall, and goes 100 mph for those wondering. I didn't put a MCBR because gigas seem to stay away from them. Steel Dragon is the only one with them. I feel like lines wouldn't be too terrible because one train could be on the course while one is on the lift and one is being loaded. For example, look at Banshee. After the Zero-G roll the next train can be sent. I feel like this would be similar. After a certain element, a train could be sent up the lift while the next starts to get loaded Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks so much!!! This means a lot to me because I aspire to design roller coasters and I am actually going into mechanical engineering because of that dream! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I created this giga in No Limits 2. It's made specifically for what I think Kings Island most needs, being strong ejector airtime, low turns, banked turns, and intensity. I don't know where this would fit in the park (possibly X-Base/Dinosaurs Alive area but the choice is up to you) or even if it could fit in the park. I would just like to see something like this around 2020-2022! Edit: I forgot to mention that it is named River Monster because of how important the Ohio River is to the regions history, kinda in the same way how Fury 325 was named! How are the insects up there now? I'm going regardless but I'd prefer if I didn't get splattered in the face by them every time I ride a coaster lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

^^I would agree but the food lines always seem to be packed! Plus it doesn't help that there there was a park wide (or nearly so) crash of the registers. I tried to get food starting around 12:00 and didn't even eat until about 1:30 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

After my 3 rides last night, I finally got the rare tree scene. I have to say, that is my favorite scene just because the cheesiness of it. Onto the ride, I think I've ridden it about 15 times now. I rode it 3 times last night (not coaster stock, just at night before it). It has cemented itself as my 3rd favorite coaster (behind Maverick at 2 and Voyage at 1). It is just a fun, twisty, airtime filled ride. The front is my favorite because I feel like it gives more ejector air, but to be honest, no seat gives a bad ride. It's all phenomenal! I'm not going to lie because when the blueprints were first leaked, I was incredibly disappointed because it seemed like a boring family coaster with only a few quick transitions. Boy was I wrong! I can't wait until some random Wednesday in summer where I'm just go my to marathon it for 12 hours straight (with a few breaks for the occasional Diamondback, Beast, Banshee, and Adventure Express). Overall, KI, GCI, and Adam House (who went to my former high school) outdid themselves with this awesome thing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I wholeheartedly agree with what he is saying, but I disagree with his point that KI will not get a giga. To the GP, a giga is the best thing ever! My dad, for instance, does not like Voyage or Maverick that much, arguably two top 5 coasters (to most enthusiasts) in the US. Instead, he prefers Millennium Force because how "tall, fast, and smooth" it is. While he does enjoy more unique rides (MT has become his favorite), coasters that are too unique or intense are not his favorite. If KI got a giga, many people would love it just because it's big, fast, and smooth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^You have to think about the GP though. I have friends and family that would much rather play Banshee Shuffle than watch TV screens with people in the woods. Overall, Kings Island did a good job appealing to both enthusiasts and those who just want to ride MT for the thrills and not for the story Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I rode it three times yesterday and from them I have to say that I like the front of the train much more than the back. I feel like in the front you feel more of ejector airtime while in the back it is more of floatjector. Also, for me at least, the left side feels much more intense than the right. I don't know why this is for me but I'd gladly give up my seat on the right side to sit on the left. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

After riding Thunderhead, I can say MT is better. While Thunderhead is much better at twisting, MT is an overall more fun ride. Airtime > Twistiness in my opinion. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^I honestly love he does that. It used to annoy me but looking on it now is kinda funny Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So as to not create another thread and since we're kinda on topic, does anybody know Dollywood's policy on rain? Do the rides remain open if it's just raining? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^I got Total Eclipse of the Heart with the snake ending. I don't know if songs specifically go with certain animations but it seems like it so far Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
