  1. ^Idk what they’ll advertise it as but it will always be the “Worlds tallest Hyper coaster”/“Lil Giga” to me lmao Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Is there an official song for this thread? Can this be it? Lol http:// Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. ^^^^ Hot take asking for a coaster model generally less well received by enthusiasts than for the coaster model most people have been begging for KI to get. The one thing I’m caught up on is that people are complaining about this, even though it’s a giga. A giga is a giga is a giga. I’m not saying criticism is a bad thing. As other have mentioned, CF and KI are a business. If you do not like what they are doing, you don’t have to be appreciative because you do pay for their product, being entertainment. On the same note though, the reason KI is getting this coaster is because CF believes there is potential to make more money with the coaster type and layout. Also, considering a giga coaster is unlike most other coaster types, complaining about it is kinda strange to me. Is it the massive record breaker we all wanted? No. Is it a new coaster type and experience that KI doesn’t have? Yes. Gigas are about speed, which this ride seems to have an abundance of. Whether it is a top 10 coaster in the world or a massive flop is yet to be seen, but prematurely yelling gloom and doom will not change anything. These are the plans KI filed. This is the coaster KI chose to get. There is no use in complaining. Rather than that, why don’t we criticize it and explain what we are excited/disappointed about, as well as continue to figure out the things we do not know, such as theme, color, etc. I love reading these comments and posting, but when more than half are complaining about this coaster without really saying why they’re complaining other than “This is the worst giga!!! We got screwed!!!” it really does get old very quickly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. As many have mentioned, it most likely means the queue for FoF will be extended to and use the queue for Firehawk. This would logically make sense as X-base will likely have much more traffic next year than in previous years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This a good time to differentiate between the two documents in question: One is a footer (footing) plan of what looks to be the station, transfer track, and lift hill. This was filed by Kings Island with the city and picked up by multiple people that use this site. These documents can be and have been posted here. There really is not much to discuss when it comes to the legitimacy of these as, as I said, they have been filed with the city. The second document (which i believe is being referred to above) is a “leaked” blueprint showing what is possibly the entire layout of the coaster. This blueprint has no known source and as such cannot be posted here, but it is posted in other places (I believe on reddit). It was initially posted here, almost immediately after the other document (mention in this post above) was posted here, but was taken down due to the previously mentioned reasons. This document was not filed with the city as far as we know, so the legitimacy of it is still up in the air, though due to the extreme detailing on it, many believe it is real. CoasterMac305 has posted a prediction of what the layout may look like using this blueprint on YouTube, and I highly recommend it. Regardless, we can neither confirm nor deny if these are real. Just though I should try to help clear this up for those that did not start reading this until a bit later on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Banshee and MT also have a “No loose articles” policy. KMAA and WindSeeker aren’t coasters that can cycle through crowds to make them very profitable (at least as profitable as DBs) imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Hate to break it to you but Invertigo is about perpendicular to that direction. But Adventure Express has one lift in that direction. SoB also had it in that general direction, as does MT Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Notice also that many lifthills are in the same direction as this. Idk if there’s any reason but it’s strange once you notice it. Edit: Also notice we’ve looped back on stuff we’ve talked about once again. Did KI hire people to keep looping us in this wormhole as a crazy meta teasing campaign? I guess we’ll never know... 9. This reminds me of a major project just a few hours north of here. The first year of construction, the park acted like there was nothing happening. It wasn’t until fall that they finally acknowledged something was going on, and they still had over a year until it was complete. I’m not saying or implying anything, just some food for thought. 10. Some supports and track should be up by the off-season I think. Banshee had the first hill and drop with complete or nearly complete by off-season I believe so this should have at least some done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Still not sure why people are saying this is the worst giga considering we have no idea what any of the elements on this coaster are. COULD it be the worst giga? Yeah of course. COULD it be the best giga? Yes. We just don’t know at this point. Based on the layout made by CoasterMac, I could see this being the third best giga, behind Fury and I305, though everything is subjective. I get being disappointed, but don’t be too disappointed considering we have no idea what this coaster will actually be like. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. ^Though the hills may be taller, there may be less tall hills than Shammy because Gigas tend to focus more on speed and low to the ground elements to maintain this speed. Though I’m not saying Lil Giga isn’t going to have an abundance of large hills, as it might have a few. I’m just saying adding the length that the hills added to Shammy may be a bit off. Who knows at this point? (In the words of a famous man, “someone does”) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. ^The red coaster is Dragon Khan, a B&M sitdown coaster Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. ^Actually I don’t even think that encapsulates what happens on fury. It’s such an odd feeling but it’s absolutely amazing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I don’t feel like quoting, but someone above said the overbank and treble clef would not have airtime. From riding Fury, I can tell you that if it is low to the ground overbank type turn (as on CoassterMac’s coaster) there will be sideways airtime. The treble clef will almost definitely have airtime. Imo these are the elements that make fury so great. They give sideways floatjector which is unlike anything I’ve ever felt. They are absolutely incredible and I’d be more than happy if our coaster had these two elements with this airtime. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. ^See Mystic Timbers being a GCI and not a giga/RMC. Same thing happened, and it turned out to be a really fun ride. As many people have said, one less renewed pass is one less person in line, so I’m not going to stop you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. ^Depends on ride experience if it’s better. Some rides don’t have that impressive of stats compared to other coasters but are much better. See Maverick compared to TTD (imo) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. http:// Just for those of you that didn’t see this, CoasterMac305 made a great No Limits 2 prediction based off the leaked layout in the pdf. It looks like he did a great job and picked those two elements as stated above. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Hulk also has one, though it’s a tire launch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I would just like to thank everyone who has put all this time into something that we’ll end up learning the truth to eventually. It really is amazing how dedicated you all are. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Almost anything is possible Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. ^I believe they were as the lily pad footers were the giveaway that it was wood. Either that or I’m crazy. DB, who really doesn’t know anymore because of this thread Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. ^I would just like to point out the improvement from Leviathan to Fury. B&M isn’t afraid to try new things and new elements on a large scale. If Fury’s high speed turns and treble clef are any indication for the direction B&M is heading, even with a smaller giga (Is there such a thing?) we should be in for a treat. I understand why people are upset by the layout (as I’m slightly disappointed) but I’m going to hold my real thoughts until we get an official announcement, and my full thoughts until riding the coaster, as I did with MT, which is one of my favorite coasters ever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. ^Remember also how dive coasters, you know, dive with a very small crest compared to conventional coasters with 90 degree drops, such as steel vengeance. The main issue isn’t the drop angle, but the crest starting into the drop angle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Just a thought, if the leaked layout was more on par with, say, Fury’s layout, would this many people believe it was fake or would more believe it was true because it would be seen as a “better ride”? (I say “better ride” because not only is that subjective, but this layout may provide an unparalleled experience which is better than Fury for people. We just don’t know yet) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
