Man, too bad the drop doesn't have a fountain that shoots water up when the train passes next to it. That little "creek" would be the perfect spot.

I hear he likes to Necropost as well. Oh, and somehow, the dude flies around the park on certain days. Crazy world right?

Looks to me like like the piece I circled in yellow is where the track separates from the backbone, and the piece circled in blue is the trackless backbone. So, looks like the drop is being built! Source: KI Webcam. I'm not posting a link, y'all know where to find it. Fast forward less than 5 minutes. That maybe what we are seeing! The piece isnt bolted to the pad yet.

Looks like we may see the backbone of the drop placed today. I've seen about 8 dump trucks hauling in what appears to be gravel. Then the white crane moved back by the piece on the ground. On edit: Pretty sure I know what the gravel pad is actually there for. It appears as though it is protecting some of the footings/footers (pick your poison) in the area. This picture is where that pad is before the gravel was laid down.

I'd love to see some activity on the webcam tomorrow! It would be really cool, if they have another section of the lift hill up by next weekend.

Fully agree. I cant remember where, but somewhere out near Hillsboro off of Route 50, there is super bright star. Kings Island needs something like that. You can see the thing from a ways away.

I met up with them on Saturday. I am trying to get them to go in the air with us. They said they would love to. Just need to coordinate with my pilot. So, hopefully soon. We definitely have the start of the lift hill though!

Those are the games they play with people. As I said above, they have blocked me before when I have requested for them to take my picture down.

Man, was it busy last night. Took almost an hour just to get through security, and into the front gate. At 9pm, this is what the front gate was like...

Convince your husband to let you go flying with us. You'll see another great perspective, and some of construction during the offseason. :-) Also, remember guys, getting to walk through the construction zone to get to Field of Screams is NOT a VIP tour of said construction zone. It is just the way thousands of other regular people get to walk through and take pictures of.

A couple days before you said that, there was no track in that location. All of that was moved within a day, surprisingly. I watched a video I took a day before I took that picture, and there was no track there.

Maybe Clifford is too short for Orion?

I would have voted for RMC, but they have so much downtime and reliability issues currently. Whereas B&M is almost always ready for people to ride them.
