Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! replacing DCA's Tower of Terror
Indiana Jones and Die Hard movies over and over. How many have there been already? It's the issue I am starting to have with the Star Trek movies. Evil guy has a chip on his shoulder and wants to destroy the world. Over and over. The series were about much more than that.

^Not disagreeing about Marval, but sounds like you want to change one over and over for another over and over.

Winterfest making a return?
What about International Talk Like a Pirate Day (9/19). They are not even going to be open!

Current wait times
^ If anyone is there the Medics are going to be very busy. I wouldn't be surprised if people are tumbling down the stairs on the slides at SC. I just went out and installed a new antenna on my wife's car and my face hurts from the heat. Glad I bought tickets for Star Trek tonight.

Cedar Point 2016 Talk
^. We spent a night at the Quality Inn Milan for $89 I think. Seemed clean with a decent TV and a rather decent breakfast with waffle irons, eggs, sausage and stuff. Was a little farther than I would have preferred but we were rather last minute and just needed a place to crash. The beds were more comfortable than many nicer hotels I have been to. The only con was the hallway smelled of fresh paint but you can't knock them keeping up with maintenance.

What? KI should be getting about 37 million of that 150 million capital investment pie. Shafted again.

Where to Charge a Cell Phone at Soak City
^ That is a common problem in many powerbanks.. Most phones need at least 1A to charge properly. USB supplies 5V but if there are not enough watts supplied by the power source each port will not get enough amps. When looking at multi port USB desk or wall charges it is very important to look at the watts or you can't really use all the ports at same time. Basically you need about 5 watts to get 1A out of a USB port. Tablets use about 2.1 or 2.4 A to charge so if you have a 6 port bank that is powered by only 25 watts you cannot charge 6 tablets at once. I am sure an EE can explain that better.

Where to Charge a Cell Phone at Soak City
For $30 or under you can get a portable powerbank that will fully charge your phone 4-5 times. I have one similar to this big one and several smaller ones down to the size of a deck of cards or a hot dog. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875968072

KI does have some campgrounds listed under "places to stay" I think or maybe just CP. We camped once at Fort Ancient but that was a scout function, with the river and canoeing right there I am sure there are camping locations close by. Most campgrounds have shower facilities but if no there is always SC. I am 90 minutes from KI so I just drive home but if I want to do a 2 day trip to CP I will likely just tent it if Mom isn't along, we are Scouts after all.

Kings Island 2016 Discussion Thread
^^ I didn't grab a pic yesterday but that spire thing was not on it yesterday when we walked by. ^ his day was not really ruined as they are usually coastered out after 4 hours or so anyway. We may have gotten a Banshee or Diamondback ride in but they would have probably been ready to go home after that anyway. We have platinum passes and get to go to KI/CP at least once a week. Though today was only the second time we have been at the dry side of KI this year. We can stay longer if it is split with some time at SC we just didn't get up in time yesterday. They haven't done Mean Streak yet and if they do I will make sure it is the last ride of the day.

Kings Island 2016 Discussion Thread
So we got to the park about 2:30 today and the goal was for the boys to finish up all coasters they haven't been on yet. Invertigo, Racer, AE, Firehawk (they both declared it their new favorite coaster), FOF. Then it was time for Vortex. I warned them about it but they both wanted to give it a try. My 11yr old came off looking bad. "Never again, Dad". My oldest didn't have a problem becuase he leaned his head forward. We sat down and the medics showed up for a woman who was dizzy from it and they took her to FA. I asked them where I could buy some Vitamn-I and they just handed me a packet. Thanks KI! After a bit we decided to head down to the train for a chill out, (I posted some picks of the new retaining wall in Decoding) but he still was not feeling great so we headed home and stopped for a McFlurry. He was fine after that. So Vortex has claimed another victim.

Got back about an hour ago. Photbucket was not cooperating. They look to be 6x8 or so beams.

Just got back from KI, those stacks of beams look to be 6x8 or so and are being slotted horizontally. I will post some pics after dinner.

WDW: Alligator reportedly drags child into Seven Seas Lagoon
By that common sense then this family should know every body of water has gatorsSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk No, the Ranger knows about the raccoons as do the Disney Employees. The camper from the city may know nothing about the woods that is why he camps in a state park. He asks the ranger questions.

If this is a family coaster I don't think Splintercat has promise. "Hey son, let's go ride Splintercat!, it's the new wood coaster!" "Nah, I hate getting splinters".

I love it. Get Reed Timmer to do the announcement and name the trains Dominator 1, 2 and 3.Edit: Animatronic trees falling over the train and track, forcing the train into multiple barrel rolls.
