Kings Island 2016 Discussion Thread
Well say hi if you see me. Big guy in a floppy hat, cargo shorts with two redheads in tow, can't miss me. I usually have a yellow or blue bandana pulled through a belt loop.

Lol. The reality is even worse than that. Artificial food dyes are petroleum based. They are not necessary but cheaper and more vibrant than the natural ones. Even a McDonalds vanilla milkshake has yellow dye. WTF?Guest services responded to my email within the hour to confirm it has blue dye. I wasn't expecting a response so fast, impressive late on a Saturday afternoon.

Awesome, thanks. My wife is coming with us tomorrow and we are trying to map out the menu options. She needs gluten free but all the carbs in pizza or potato works aren't ideal either, I think between Reds, burrito bowl, and anti pasta salad we should be good. Weather is looking good and at least in Columbus the humidity is supposed to way down on Sunday. Mason is probably not that far off. I finally sent an email inquiring if the blue ice cream has artificial dyes but probably won't hear back for a few days. Makes my oldest crazy.

I hear tightening the seat belt very tight is the trick.

Does anyone know if you can get grilled chicken on the chicken salad at Reds? (As opposed to breaded)

I find Valrayvn fun to relax in the shade and watch, wear as you have to bake in the sun for TDD.

Current wait times
Wonderful, talked Mom into coming with us tomorrow. Everybody getting out before school starts I suppose.

^ Similar to how I feel about the Cowboys. I don't have a problem with the team per say, it's the Cowboys Fans I don't care for.

27 FIRED FROM CAROWINDS.
It depends on the origination country. If your group is politically powerful you get to stay, if not you got to go. Not making a judgement, thats just the way things work here, always have and always will.

What's In The Shed!?
Oh, I got it. The Racer Blue train can be MacGyver and the Red and can be MacGrubber.

National Roller Coaster Day 2016
I would do this especially since a GOCC family membership is only $25 but I probably couldn't get the cards in time without causing some hassle. Never mind, school starts Wednesday the 17th.

New For 2017: Mystic Timbers!
Well if the parks didn't royally screw things up so often and they let the professionals here take care of the naming we wouldn't be in this jam. Would we?

Just announced: season pass deal
I don't really know anything about the place but a membership to any outdoor pool these days is about that much. Around me a family of four costs about $400-500 a season.

Dorney Park: season-long Fast Lane Plus
ISPs love "up to" as well. 28k qualifies.

New For 2017: Mystic Timbers!
How many were on the A Team? 7-8? I think we may have more coasters than available names. We could select some other 70s characters to fill in the gaps. I know which coaster would fit Buck Rogers.

Last Gold and Platinum Exclusive Ride Night of the Season
Not trying to be negative, but am I the only one who thinks this lineup is rather weak? From my limited experience those rides are walk ons anyway.

Most pool's regulations state you must take a nude soapy shower before entering the water. We all know that rarely happens and few have the shower facilities to actually accommodate that regulation and would require major upgrades. Depending on how science keeps up with evolving organisms we may come to a point in the future when they will have to enforce it. It is also a really good idea to take a shower after swimming. Few do as well. I learned that lesson last week at CP. I was getting a bit of chaffing at SC by mid afternoon when we switched over to the dry side. If felt fine up until Thursday night when I discovered I had a rather severe open wound and eventually went to Urgent Care and was diagnosed with both a bacterial and fungal infection. Still not completely healed and have been home bound all week. So what am I doing this afternoons? Taking my boys to Zoombezie Bay! Haven't used our passes all summer yet. I will not be getting in the water. I read somewhere that in Europe men are required to wear the "speedo" type trunks for "sanitary" reasons. I find the sanitary claims a little dubious but I am no scientist. Carpe Diem

Decoding Episode 2.5: BONUS ROUND! Second Announcement!
That's at fault with the Admissions associates as they have control over the TV's via an Ipad, but they don't change the lanes instantly. Don't rely on technology to tell us which lanes are open when you can easily see via, a person standing (Or sitting) at the turnstile. Likewise don't rely on the app to tell you if a ride is open or not.

I propose we start working on gathering our Mr. T costumes for opening day.

Halloweekends question
That made me laugh becuase the first thought that came into my mind when I read that was Hipster Screamsters.

Dorney Park: season-long Fast Lane Plus
Not showing as available at SFSTL, but the site is screwy showing all levels as $9,999.00. Lol. A little steep you think? What I did notice looking at NJFTP was it was the mid level flash pass with a up to 50% wait reduction, not the 90% platinum level.

I would certainly prefer the lab tests be done daily.
