  1. So what happens if you blew all your money trying to win the giant Pikachu and are now flat broke? Does the meter keep running until your next payday? Guest Services impound your stuff? Your ass get tossed in Frontier Jail? Make you wash dishes?
  2. So I was just thinking about this. What if you used a prepaid Visa gift card with only $2 on it to rent a locker. Would the kiosk let you use one, maybe not? What happens at hour 3 when when it wants another $1? Does it go into lockdown and require an associate to access it or maybe it just unlocks and all your stuff is exposed? These are deep, deep questions.
  3. If only TTD had the same uptime as the Washington Monumnet. Maybe adding another 100 feet would help.
  4. The KC Star has a great piece on the construction and approval process. Mr. BAlvey thinks it makes his "dumbest posters" look good. As of this post he has not disputed any of the facts presented in the story. http://www.kansascity.com/news/local/article95562432.html
  5. Has it rained at all today? I have only seen small cells on radar.
  6. I think there are lockers for Valravyn, but not sure about that. Page has likely not been updated yet. Can I take my bag or other belongings on a ride with me? Loose article policies vary for our rides. Visit our Ride Policies and Procedures page for more information. Note that Top Thrill Dragster, Gatekeeper, Rougarou, Magnum XL-200 and Millennium Force riders are required to store their belongings (purses, prizes, video cameras, etc.) in the secure lockers at various ride's entrance's as they are not permitted in line or on the rides. Lockers are available near Millennium Force, Gatekeeper, Top Thrill Dragster, Thunder Canyon, and Skyhawk. Small 3 x 5 GoPod Locker $2 for 2 hours, $4 for 4 hours, or $6 for 6 hours 12” Wide x 18” Deep x 14-2/5” High Large 2 x 4 GoPod Locker $4 for 2 hours, $8 for 4 hours, or $12 for 6 hours 15” Wide x 18” Deep x 18” High
  7. They don't have a roaming locker code. I sure wish they did as well. I think the all day lockers are just up front, but I very well could be wrong about that. At $2 a pop it shouldn't cost you more than $20-30 in one off rentals, unless you plan on zooming all around the park. We were just there Thursday and I really want to hit KI this weekend but the forecast is still iffy for Mason. My kids don't do well sitting around waiting for the rain to stop. Looks to be a great day in Sandusky on Sunday, high of 82.
  8. ^ Free parking at all CF parks has been benefit of Platinum Passes. Those with more experience indicate passes should go on sale Soon™
  9. ^ On our first trip to KI ever in June, WWC was our second ride after RFYLCB (both my boys are Aspies) we were right behind someone in a wheel chair and the cue was just huge. I think given the long trek back they didn't make us wait the same customary time as the que and let us all right on. Not only that, after our first round they asked if we wanted to go again! Both rafts accepted and needless to say everyone was completely drenched by the end. I suspect TB was manning his battle station as well. I completely agree KI and its associates really do care about their customers, The only exception I run into are some of the younger ride associates and I just chalk that up to lack of experience on the job and full immersion in the culture. My experiences at CP have been the same as well.
  10. That is going to PO a lot of people around here.
  11. And they just figured this out? Thanks for the timely heads up KI.
  12. One can never watch to much Star Trek. Or Stargate. Just downloaded both seasons of Space:1999.
  13. Going to try again Saturday or Sunday since last Sunday was a bust with the wife getting sick. Planning on The Great Concrete Slab up north tomorrow, water park until mid afternoon then dry park and check out the beach activities at night. Forecast is 6F cooler, every bit helps.
  14. ^ In Europe it is hardly used anymore because they require a warning label larger than the warning a pack of cigarettes. It's that bad.
  15. It also has the added benefit of artificial food dyes for all the petro chemical lovers. Enjoy.
  16. ^ Not sure what you are trying to say. From my understanding there is a scale at check in and a scale on the platform to recheck before loading. My point is a good lawyer will be able to spin the fact that they "use" children to pair up with adults to get the raft into the range.
  17. Ok then. That leads me back to what you don't understand about my question. Any causes undetermed, not something inherent to the individual such as a heart attack. Maybe Kenban's "predicting conditions", not sure what that means.
  18. I don't understand Terp, it has? We know it was the netting/supports? It certainly looks that way, but no findings by the experts. Are you saying this is cased closed and no need for an investigation?
  19. I guess I didn't phrase that well. I meant from an issue of design or maintenance, or undetermined, not something like a heart attack.
  20. Has any ride that experienced a death ever open again that season?
  21. Looks like CP PR is sending out flip flops with "somethings afoot" printed on them with a 8/19 announcement date. Tallest and fastest water slide jokes are "to soon". Let's not go there yet, OK?
